For anyone who remembers the years of litigation and re-drawing of maps after the 2012 redistricting ... Who's ready for more?! Our editorial:
Unconstitutional congressional district maps in Ala. and La. have been overturned after U.S. Supreme Court rulings, and the court has also found that such maps are subject to state court review in a case out of North Carolina. Florida's maps could be next. sun-sentinel.com/2023/07/05/…

The jury in Scot Peterson's trial made the correct decision on the law. Should the law be changed to stipulate that armed law enforcement officers have a duty to protect citizens? What would such a change in the law look like specifically? sun-sentinel.com/2023/07/04/…

Hey I know, Cory retweeted this, but guys, please, no need to retweet. Don't you know this is just adding to the extremely limited number of tweets people can read? Of course, I'm sure this can all be fixed if we all just pay more money and give away more personal information.

Update: DeSantis just signed this bill into law.
One of the few bills still waiting a signature from the 2023 session would study whether to use radioactive waste in road construction, which is, you know, not a good idea. (But hey, would allow phosphate industry to sell a lot of radioactive waste!) Our editorial:

Given the authoritarian bent of our governor, the last thing we need are rubber stamps where we should have checks and balances, yet here we are. Our editorial:
