1. Not sure when a new, on-the-record rape allegation against a sitting president isn’t considered news — especially considering Trump was found liable by a jury in a similar case — but it was ignored by most mainstream media outlets

Who does Texas belong to? We're going to answer that question on November 3.

BREAKING: James Talarico and Donald Trump hosted rallies at the same time in R+40 Lubbock County, Texas tonight. Talarico pulled a larger crowd. Holy crap.

Hey, fellow Texans. Dan Patrick said this: “I'm not going to legalize marijuana in Texas. And if people want to vote me out of office for that, so be it."
Just a friendly reminder you have a chance to take him up on that. Early voting is open now!

Bolsonaro fleeing Brazil and heading to the U.S. sounds like all of those illegal border crossings MAGA is always fucking crying about.
He shouldn't get comfortable.
Losing an election is not grounds for asylum.
Yet the Trump Administration is giving Flávio Bolsonaro safe haven in the United States. In Brazil, he is under investigation for alleged corruption, money laundering and currency evasion, and was ordered to surrender his passports.
The Trump Administration owes Congress answers on its role helping Bolsonaro flee Brazil in contravention of Brazilian law.

Elon Musk has given Greg Abbott $500K in campaign cash.
Musk's companies have received $1.6 billion in tax incentives and $30 million in grants funded by Texas taxpayers.
Texans deserve to know what else he's gotten in return.

What is happening in Texas?
The Texas Agriculture Commissioner wrote an editorial calling on Governor Greg Abbott to release his private communications with Elon Musk. Abbott is actively fighting in court to keep the communication redacted.
Totally wild.
Ruling likely means Texans won't see them until after Nov. 3 election, if at all. #txleg
Latest: Appeals court pauses trial court order requiring Gov. Greg Abbott to turn over his unredacted communications with Elon Musk to Gina Hinojosa by Thursday.
Ruling likely means Hinojosa won't see them until after Nov. 3 election, if at all. #txlege

Just to recap: @GregAbbott_TX’s office has official emails with Elon Musk that they claim are “embarrassing.” He refuses to release them to State Rep @GinaHinojosaTX who is entitled to them. A court confirms that State Rep Hinojosa is entitled to see them.
And now we know that Abbott was given more than $5 million by Musk.
One must ask.. Did Abbott give Musk anything in exchange for political contributions?
Since we’re talking about it…

Given Gov Abbott's fundraising prowess, it's significant that in Texas the Republican Governors Association is outspending the Democratic Governors Association under @AndyBeshearKY. Gov Beshear's been under pressure from some Democrats to step up investment in Rep Hinojosa

Elon Musk just gave Greg Abbott $5 million. Sounds like the Elon emails Abbott has been hiding must be more damning than we even knew.
