‘The Dispatches programme appears to have intentionally conflated long-standing, and well-known, “bad boy” behaviour with far more serious, potentially criminal allegations.’
You won’t know the name of Jonathan Cook but I do. And there’s little more to be said about such stuff.

Nigel Farage is “personally damaged” and “can reasonably be held to account” for his association with Trump agree Daniel Finkelstein and Sally Morgan.
“Enough people know he supported Trump for that to have some cut-through.”
🗳️ How To Win An Election

It’s the 5th of November. So what do we think of that most infamous of plotters Guy Fawkes. While nearly half of Brits are neutral/no opinion on Fawkes among those who do there are partisan splits. Reform 2024 voters have the most positive net view, Tory voters the most negative

I can believe that Stewart didn’t know this man is blind.
I can’t believe how far Stewart has fallen so that he thinks “JEWS ARE UGLY LOLOLOL” is good material
And so the day has arrived.
Midterm thoughts and predictions here:
TLDR: Republicans keep the Senate by one or two seats, even a 50/50 split where Vance has deciding vote
Dems win the house
Ken Paxton wins Texas v Talarico, where I’ll be reporting tonight for special election coverage on GB News gbnews.com/opinion/us-politi…
He’s losing his feel, which is interesting. He also overestimates what money and organisation can achieve, which is also interesting.

The Times isn’t buying Kassam’s toxic strategy either - he’s actually damaged the people he thought he was supporting and helping

This is telling from such a strong supporter of Israel and obviously right about Ben Gvir and Smotrich, but hard to see how anyone will really believe a page has been turned if Netanyahu remains PM.
I said I wasn’t going to weigh in on who should be prime minister of Israel as that is a decision for Israeli citizens. I did, however, want to share one point of view from the perspective of someone who has an understanding of how Israel is perceived in America.
Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich have caused Israel enormous reputational damage with their statements and actions which are presented in the global media as representing the voice and will of all Israelis.
As such, a government formed without Ben-Gvir and Smotrich will send a message to the rest of the world that Israel is turning a new page.
This will allow Israel to rebuild lost credibility, increase the opportunity for an expansion of the Abraham Accords, and enjoy a better relationship with Democrats and Republicans and Americans at large.

This shouldn't be difficult. @RaheemKassam is a poisonous, nasty piece of work. He shouldn't be within one hundred miles of a mainstream political party.
‘Is calling Kemi Badenoch a “Nigerian scammer” racist, yes or no?’
‘…I’m not on your show to talk about what a journalist has tweeted.’
Reform's Robert Jenrick refuses to engage with @Lewis_Goodall's question about Raheem Kassam's comments on the Tory leader.

I’m assuming this screenshot is genuine. The fact that someone like this holds an official UN post explains why it is impossible to trust the UN when it observes or comments on Israel. This is a great sadness and makes establishing truth vastly harder.
