Danny Irwin

I flew into Anaheim for some meetings and to attend FitExpo on Friday, went to the expo Saturday and took a redeye on Saturday night to get home just in time to put @WLU_Wrestling through at workout at @LegacyatCarbon - they just happened to have their preseason retreat nearby and it worked out perfectly. Amazing young men, amazing coaches, and if you recall, this is where @ThomasLobliner is wrestling so it was great to see him. Started with a grueling training session and before hitting the road, they stopped by the crib to shower - they desperately needed it. I always wondered what we would do with all of the bathrooms in our house and now I know. We also got an impromptu wrestling match between our own Cartman (@PrestonLobliner ) and Coach @Danny__Irwin . People don’t know this, but throughout the years, Legacy has faced numerous challenges out of our control that would have led most businesspeople to shut it down. These were out of our control. We looked for a new spot for years and were stuck, so it was either deal with it and do our best or shut it down. Despite being perfect tenants, our time had come to leave and we were homeless, Legacy was doomed. But like everytime I was about to throw in the towel, God stepped in. We met this amazing man who had a building - it was perfect! He worked his butt off and @BielBryce and some Legacy athletes helped get the building ready in weeks. Legacy was offline for less than two weeks and now we are better than ever. @KatieLobliner and Bryce worked tirelessly in 100+ degree conditions to have this ready - building racks, handling painters and now Legacy has a real home. Yesterday made me realize that I am blessed to have my colleagues in my businesses but also, to be able to fulfill my lifelong promise to help young athletes reach their goals and develop into amazing humans. And thank the good Lord for @BielBryce - the best friend a man can have and the greatest coach I’ve ever worked with.
