Question: Regarding ofcom rule 5.4, who would be regarded as the person providing the service? Presumably it couldn't be the holding company as that's not a person and would be a massive loophole if it is.

Worth remembering today: There is a committed industry of election deniers, motivated by politics/money, devoted to shouting "fraud!" They will seek to flood the zone today, to create the impression that there is a lot of smoke in the hope you might believe there is a fire.

Britain didn't lead the fight against slavery. It followed those who had spent decades fighting to end it. Enslaved Africans resisted and revolted. Abolitionists challenged the powerful interests profiting from their suffering. Haiti's enslaved population rose up in 1791 and won independence in 1804. Britain finally abolished its slave trade in 1807, but slavery itself continued across British colonies until the 1830s. Amd yes, the Royal Navy subsequently helped suppress the international slave trade, hut Britain had spent centuries making vast profits from that trade. And when slavery was finally abolished, who received £20 million in compensation? The slave owners! Not the enslaved. Celebrating Britain as the saviour while overlooking centuries of British involvement in slavery makes a mockery of the suffering, resistance and courage of those who actually fought for freedom.

You may want to reflect on that. Miliband served in our military during World War II, escaped Nazi-occupied Europe as a refugee aged 16 before joining the war effort, served on HMS Valorous in the North Sea, escorting convoys, fought in Normandy D-Day landings, among other events
How about apologising for your family's role in communism - the most evil ideology on the planet?

Reform promised to bring a new kind of politics to Suffolk. Now one of their most senior councillors has been sacked from his Cabinet role after sharing a sexualised AI-generated image of a female colleague. Whatever our political differences, everyone in public life deserves dignity and respect. This behaviour has absolutely no place in politics. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c39w… – at Thurston, England

Tiverton Foxhounds 10.10.26 We paid a visit to the Tiverton at Rackenford for their 9am cubbing meet. Sabs spent the morning running up and down the valley with the pack, as hounds chased one fox after another on land between Higher Thorn and North Coombe Farm. 🦊🧵01/10

No comment on the homophobia your rhetoric fuels, Joanne? Homophobia & anti-kink prejudice share a history of policing sexuality & condemning consensual expression as immoral/unnatural. You’d know that if you were a real ally, rather than weaponising gay men for your transphobia
But fetish wear, as we all know, is limited exclusively to gay men, James. You'll never see a straight man in a gimp mask or manacles.

Before Liz Truss goes to the Cenotaph on Sunday, she might like to read about the Second World War and what Ralph Miliband did in it.

A Facebook 'news' page in Nottinghamshire has amassed 13k followers and many think it's a non-partisan outlet. It was actually set up by a man now working for Reform. The democratic threat such pages would pose in a general election campaign are clear. nottinghampost.com/news/loca…

Little Chris Philp getting cornered over the Boris wave 😂 Nothing to with him though, not a thing. He was only a minister in the home office at the time.

Only two days after the BHSA's farcical "trail hunting day" the Vale of White Horse Hunt were out demonstrating exactly why a full ban on hunting is needed now. It was reported by Three Counties Hunt Sabs that at least three foxes were hunted throughout the duration of the morning's meet and attendees were holding up coverts, saddle slapping and shouting. This is a classic cub hunting tactic in order to turn back any fleeing foxes towards hounds. While we are still waiting for the government to deliver what was promised in their manifesto, wildlife is still being persecuted and terrorised while hunts try to play make believe in the press and parliament.

This fox was one of at least two hunted by The Heythrop Hunt on Saturday 31st October. Only moments before this fox was seen to safety, a Three Counties Hunt Sab was subjected to violent threats from the kennel huntsman who threatened to ride her down. Fox hunting is happening all over the country and "trail" hunting has never existed. Why is it still happening? Because the law is providing hunts with loopholes and a smokescreen, meaning that wildlife is still being terrorised and killed. We have waited long enough for a full ban on hunting with hounds. It's high time the government tightened the hunting laws and started protecting our wildlife. "𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙖𝙣?" 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨 𝙋𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙝𝙖𝙢
