INDEPENDENT NATIONAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION PRESS STATEMENT CLARIFICATION ON ALLEGED AI-GENERATED PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE PRELIMINARY REGISTER OF VOTERS The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has noted public concerns and reports circulating on social media regarding suspected AI-generated photographs appearing in the Preliminary Register of Voters recently published on its website. The Commission wishes to clarify that the register published online on 26 October 2026 is the same preliminary register physically displayed at Registration Areas (RAs) nationwide from 9th to 15th October 2026 as part of the Display, Claims and Objections exercise. During the physical display, a number of questionable registration records were identified and flagged for further examination. The Commission commenced the process of reviewing these records and taking appropriate corrective action in accordance with established procedures. The online publication represents the original preliminary register and does not reflect all ongoing data-cleanup activities. It is important to emphasize that the preliminary register is not the final certified register. The Display, Claims and Objections exercise is specifically intended to facilitate public scrutiny, identify inaccuracies and irregularities, and enable appropriate corrections before certification. The Commission is also examining the circumstances surrounding the suspicious photographs, including possible technical or procedural lapses, and will take appropriate action based on verified findings. The Commission appreciates the vigilance of citizens and stakeholders who have brought these concerns to public attention. Such scrutiny contributes to the process of improving the accuracy and integrity of the register. INEC remains committed to completing the necessary verification, adjudication, and data-cleanup processes ahead of the scheduled certification of the final Register of Voters on 15th December 2026. The Commission assures Nigerians that verified irregularities will be addressed through the applicable procedures and that further updates will be provided as the review progresses. Mohammed Kudu Haruna Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee (IVEC) 27th October, 2026

What is the duration of a Chinese visitor’s visa ?
I am a U.S. permanent resident with over seven figures in U.S. dollars in savings and investable assets, a stable career, income, and property. I have never been denied a visa by any country, nor have I ever violated the immigration laws of any country. Yet over the past four years, the Schengen visas issued to me have become progressively shorter and more restrictive. In 2023, France granted me a 90-day multiple-entry visa. Naturally, I expected that my excellent travel history would qualify me for a longer visa upon reapplication. Instead, my second French visa was reduced to just 30 days, albeit with multiple entries. I considered this not only a disregard for my impeccable record but also an insult to a law-abiding traveler. I therefore decided to abandon France and apply to Spain instead—a country I had mistakenly believed would be more welcoming to Chinese visitors. To my astonishment, Spain proved even worse. Despite my history of holding two French Schengen visas, Spain granted me only a one-month, single-entry visa, with its validity calculated almost precisely to match my travel itinerary, leaving virtually no flexibility. I assumed that applying to Spain a second time, with an even stronger travel record, would at least earn me a six-month multiple-entry visa. Once again, Spain disappointed me: 33 days. Single entry. This is how certain European countries treat a financially secure, law-abiding traveler with U.S. permanent residency and an impeccable international travel record. The irony is extraordinary. On the one hand, these countries impose increasingly burdensome restrictions on legitimate tourists. On the other, they have opened doors for years to illegal immigrants and third country refugees. They are remarkably stingy toward visitors who respect their laws, appreciate their cultures, and contribute to their tourism economies. Yet when confronted with genuine threats to public order, they just sit and do nothing. I initially wanted to condemn these immigration officers in the harshest possible words for their arrogance, shortsightedness, and upside-down mentality. However, after reading recent news reports about violent incidents in France and Spain, my anger has gradually turned into a sense of relief. Of course, I do not wish violence upon innocent people. But these reports have reminded me of something important: Why should I go to such lengths to obtain permission to visit countries where public safety itself has become a source of concern? I once believed that these visa officers were rejecting me. Now I realize that perhaps they have unintentionally helped me avoid unnecessary risks. They seem to believe that they alone possess the power to decide who deserves to enter Europe. What they forget is that travelers also have the freedom to decide which countries deserve their time and money. My wealth can be spent anywhere in the world. My vacations can take place in countless destinations. I have absolutely no need to beg any country for the privilege of spending my own money within its borders. If a country cannot show basic respect to law-abiding visitors or provide a travel environment in which they feel safe, then the most appropriate response is simply to take my time and money elsewhere. Looking back, perhaps it was precisely the stinginess of these visa officers that spared me from potentially encountering violence or other unnecessary risks in their countries. I used to be furious that my visas kept getting shorter. Today, I am grateful that I no longer feel any need to visit these countries. Perhaps everything happens according to God’s plan. Thank God!

People must get sense by force.
I once got arrested because of a post I made on this app. I thought I was smart, but these people were actually smarter than me 😭 They didn’t even track me. It all started with a dm.Someone DM’d me and asked me to send my rate card for promotion. I sent it, and the next day, they reached out again with an invoice, didn’t even argue about the price. Instead, they told me it was going to be a long-term partnership, not the normal per-post or monthly gig. I was so happy because that was a lot of money. They asked me to drop my account details, which I did. When it was time to pay, they told me the company would make the payment directly and that I should wait. Two days later, they reached out again and said

No one from Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Finland and many more is coming to live permanently in the UK. They have a better life where they are. Quality of life is better; they don’t have to pay tax even when they are dead. Many British citizens will go overseas if it happens.
🚨 Andy Burnham has said he is open to taking Britain BACK into freedom of movement with the EU. That means 450 million people will be able to move to the UK, with no powers to stop them. Plus anyone in the world who can get their hands on citizenship of ANY EU country. Burnham is determined to open the floodgates and overwhelm Britain. He MUST be voted out!

It does while growing up in Nigeria; there are times when by 6pm everywhere is dark. That’s the same as the shorter days and longer nights experienced in other parts of the world. I can’t remember what month it happens in Nigeria, but it happens year in, year out.

Time zones change to balance local daylight with the way the Earth rotates. However in Nigeria due to our geography is located close to the Earth’s equator. The amount of daylight we receive does not change between summer and winter(assuming we have those seasons lol). There is no reason to adjust the clocks.

Nigeria is just not a serious country: no proper data, no self-awareness whatsoever. Also, Nigeria is the only country that does not properly classify its weather into summer, winter, spring and the rest. They just use rainy and dry seasons. A very anyhow set of people.
