✅25.4 TRILLION DINARS IN ELECTRONICS PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS IN IRAQ » 🟢Eco Iraq reveals more than 37 million payment cards and 197,000 points of sale across the country 🟢The Eco Iraq Observatory announced that the volume of electronic payment transactions in the country reached 25.4 trillion dinars by the end of July, through more than 10.8 million payment transactions, indicating the growing use of digital financial services and a gradual decline in reliance on traditional cash transactions. 🟢In a statement, the observatory explained that financial transaction indicators for 2025 recorded transactions worth 32.8 trillion dinars, carried out through 14.6 million financial transactions, including 20 trillion dinars in collections from fees and bills. 🟢The observatory revealed that the number of electronic payment cards in Iraq had risen to 37.6 million, alongside the spread of around 197,000 electronic points of sale, as well as 3,015 ATMs and more than 15,000 cash withdrawal points. 🟢It noted that Iraq’s electronic payments sector includes 18 specialized companies, including five e-wallets, providing financial services and facilitating payment and transfer transactions for citizens and institutions. 🟢The observatory considered the expansion of electronic payment use a positive step toward transitioning to a digital economy, reducing reliance on cash, and strengthening financial transparency and financial inclusion in the country. 🟢These indicators reflect the expansion of electronic payment infrastructure in Iraq, amid a move toward adopting digital solutions in government and commercial transactions and developing the financial and banking sector #وان_نيوز #المنصة_الإخبارية_الأولى_في_العراق
