Happy that 3 intense days of Moonshot is over. Really proud of how my team delivered on creating a beautiful event. A little glitches but overall, we delivered a massive event at a scale that we aren’t used to or understand the work it takes.

Adulting is gaining a lot and losing a lot at the same time. You hit big milestones, then people you love pass away. You finally reach a major career goal, then get laid off because of AI. You meet the love of your life, then fall out with your day ones.

Another thing you people aren’t highlighting in this only child conversation is the importance of building a community. Forge healthy relationships and let your children witness what meaningful connection looks like so they can learn to cultivate it themselves. Not everyone has the financial or emotional capacity to raise more than one child, especially in this economy. Children are not toys o. Having siblings is not a substitute for a healthy, supportive community and having more children than you can adequately care for benefits nobody.
