To quote Blackadder - “Well it started badly, it tailed off a little in the middle & the less said about the end the better! But apart from that, excellent!" 🤣 But seriously, that was such a fun interview with Father Alex Frost for his podcast called ‘The God Cast’. ✨🧡✨

Ten years ago today we played the first of two shows at the ‘Desert Trip Music Festival’ in Indio, California… or the “catch ’em before they croak” festival as Mick Jagger called it!! 🤣 Such an honour to play with The Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Neil Young’ & The Who!!

I recently met up with Patrick Fabian, probably best known for his brilliant portrayal of ‘Howard Hamlin’ in the TV series ‘Better Call Saul’!! Patrick’s also a keen music fan, having attended some of the concerts I’ve played alongside both @StevenWilsonHQ & Roger Waters!!

Maria & I, watching the Solar eclipse on Glastonbury Tor yesterday… 😎 🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔

Just got back after a few days away… hope you’ve all been behaving yourselves!! ☺️ 📷 by María ✨🩵✨ #justanotherday

Twenty years ago today I played my first ever show with Roger Waters… a small, intimate little warm up gig in front of 70,000 people at the ‘Rock in Rio’ festival… which bizarrely was actually in Lisbon, Portugal!! 🇵🇹 It’s been quite a journey…. ✨ 🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕

I was tagged in this video recently, so I thought I’d repost it here… it’s a clip from a guitar instructional DVD that I filmed for @licklibrary… obviously WAY before my stints with Roger Waters & Steven Wilson… and apparently before I discovered sleep by the looks of it!! 🤣

Those lovely chaps at Prog Rock Songs asked me to compile a ‘prog’ playlist, so here it is!! There were a few songs I really wanted to include (like ‘The Bells of Berlin’ by Lone Star) but unfortunately they’re not on Spotify... Hope you enjoy this selection anyway!! 😎✨🤘🏼

Twenty years ago today I got up at stupid o’clock & drove myself down to Sensible Studios in North London for an early morning audition with a certain Mr. Waters. 🦶🏻note; this wonderful picture by Kate Izor obviously isn’t from my audition, but I thought it set the scene nicely

A little throwback to 2017, during the ‘Us & Them’ tour… taken on June 20th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. HUGE thanks to Jill & Gary at Tour Bus Live for the cool photo!! ✨

Really can’t believe it’s ten years today that we lost my friend, bandmate, musical hero & favourite keyboard player on the planet… ✨Keith Emerson✨ Still miss my beautiful friend… 💔 By the way, there’s a special Keith Emerson cover story in the new @ClassicRockMag ✨

We celebrated Valentine’s weekend by (finally!!) seeing the film about my favourite vocalist ever!!! ♥️ Jeff Buckley - It’s Never Over… ♥️ Also had a short interview with Prog Magazine… more later!! 📷 by Merri Cyr… @ProgMagazineUK @merrifairy

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....

Celebrating another trip around the sun… and, calculating my age in Martian years, I’m only 34!!! 🤣✨🥳✨👽

Wishing everyone an AMAZING Christmas, & a very happy & peaceful New Year… take care of each other!! D & M x ⛄️💫🥂✨🍾🎅🏼🎄❄️

⛄️🍁Happy Winter Solstice!! ❄️🍷 Can’t believe it’s just over two years since the end of the RW ‘This Is Not a Drill’ tour!!! I really miss beautiful scenes like this, from the Allianz Parque in São Paulo… ✨🧡✨

Just spent a long weekend in London to celebrate María’s birthday!! ✨🩵✨ We saw ‘ABBA Voyage’ (amazing show!!), various Christmas lights & markets 🎄✨🎅🏼🍷 & got to see Radiohead at the O2!!! Nice to see Mr Gilmour in attendance, too… ☺️ @ABBAVoyage @radiohead @davidgilmour

Searching for the perfect Christmas gift? Then look no further than these gorgeous Paoletti guitars!! ✨😍✨ The black one in the video is actually brand new & played straight out the box!! HUGE thanks to @paolettiguitars for my guitars & María for the video & guitar design. ✨

Been doing some filming for Paoletti Guitars recently… look out for a demo video soon!! 📷 by María ✨🩵✨ @paolettiguitars
