I think this is true. Larry David would agree. The bald community has been shunned for far too long. It’s nice to finally get some recognition.

A relationship should add meaning to your life not become the only place you believe you have value.

The fact that you’re admitting this years later is hilarious. Somewhere a homeowner is still wondering what happened to their house.
One summer during college, I worked for a company called College Pro Painting. Three other college kids, one being a close friend, and I would paint homes while drinking beer. Half-drunk, we barely knew what we were painting. There would be paint on the grass and on the driveway, or spilled paint on the bulked. The houses looked like shit afterwards. Customers had no business hiring us. We should’ve been jailed.
Imagine this?
You catch Covid or a virus. And the symptoms never go away, ever. You have what's called #longcovid or #MECFS. There is no FDA-approved treatment or cure for either.
You cannot work.
You're housebound or bedbound.
You lose your social circle.
No more fun, no more activities.
Then, to add insult to injury, you are denied disability insurance repeatedly because they determine you do not have a life-limiting illness, when in fact, both LC and ME are the most functionally disabling illnesses on planet earth. That is not hyperbole.
It's been 5 years and Brad has been denied disability insurance 10 times. He has no income. It's a struggle enough trying to deal with a serious, life-altering illness, but to have no financial aid is a sin, especially in America, which has the largest economy in the world.
Please help Brad out with a donation if you can, big or small. Anything helps.

I'm going to try a new approach to life that was taught to me over 25 years ago. I was dating a girl from Maine. Tattoos, a vegan. The first night I slept over her house, we fooled around but she didn't want to yet sleep with me. She said, "You came here with expectations. Don't have expectations."
Now over 25 years later, I will follow that advice with everything. I shall try to have no expectations that life will give me something good. And then if and when it does happen and life throws me some kindness, I'll be so happy and excited, rather than having constant expectations and getting my hopes dashed.
Do you like that approach?

Evil exists because people have free will and not all people have goodness in their hearts.
The year before I met my wife, I was dating a young lady who was into drugs and did not have the best of morals.
One night, we're driving in her car and got into an argument. She was high on drugs and obviously shouldn't have been driving, but it was a different time back then.
Anyway, she got a call on her cell phone and picked it up and on the other end was this coke-head friend of hers. He was in a nearby car with his two friends.
So she told this friend to meet her in XYZ parking lot in the next 5 minutes, that she's having issues with me.
It was all happening so fast, I didn't know what was going on.
Shortly after, we pulled into a parking lot. Then not more than a minute later, the friend and his two buddies pulled up to our car and got out.
I got out of the car and immediately had a shouting match with one of the guys, who said, "Are you giving X a problem?" Of course, I said no. But they didn't want to hear hit. So the three coked-out-of-their-minds-and-drunk guys circled in on me.
Pow! I made first contact because I felt like I had no other choice. Five to seven punches to the face of the tall guy who was up in my grill, ready to clock me, and he hit the ground like a ton of bricks.
Well, his friends didn't like that, so they both jumped me.
I kept hitting the guy on the ground as they hit me. But I had to act quickly or I'd be killed. So I immediately went into full protection mode and began blocking with my arms several kicks to my head by three psychos, and then more kicks.
And just when I felt they might kill me because I couldn't keep up the blocking, the police showed up.
I had a ripped shirt and a few bruises on my head. Otherwise, my face looked fine and like I hadn't gotten into a fight.
I was so sore the next day, but the bruises didn't last too long.
"Tough times don't last, tough people do."
Is getting on each other’s nerves universal and what we all have uniquely in common as a human race?
That is to say, is getting on a person’s nerves in Bucharest, for example, the same as getting on someone’s nerves in New York City?
In the mid-1980s, my brother won a McDonald’s sweepstakes grand prize. My mother had to claim the scratch ticket winnings for him since he was under eighteen at the time.
Consumer reporter Paula Lyons from Channel 4 News in Boston came to the house and interviewed my parents about winning the grand prize, which was later featured on TV.
Due to the high tax burden, however, we had no choice but to return the winning merchandise—a life-size Centipede Arcade, an Atari, a large screen TV, etc.—which was then donated to the Ronald McDonald Foundation.

People treat you based on who they are,
not what you deserve.
Their behaviour reflects their character,
not your worth.
Rest easy, @Gavtaraysin. You were such a kind and compassionate soul and a friend to so many of us. You will be greatly missed. #MECFS

Don’t build a business just to escape a boss. Build something that creates real value for people.
I think #MECFS has arrested my development as a human. I feel like I can only relate to fellow humans in lockdown through no fault of their own.
