Dr Michael Hunklinger is giving the keynote address at @SPDqueer conference #ZusammenVielfaltVerteidigen #DefendingDiversityTogether on “Democracy under pressure – Whz queer politics is social politics.” I’m not happy with English translation. Does anyone have a snappier version?
Today I am being an @SPDqueer activist and attending the #SPDqueer conference on #VielfaltVerteidigen #DefendingDiversity in the #WillyBrandtHaus in #Berlin
I‘ve done some research and the Democratic Socialists of America do refer to each other as comrade and are woke with a capital W in this clip youtu.be/UPLQNUVmq3o?is=TxdO…
I did have something relatively healthy and tasty (although not looking very appealing) on my plate, but it was covered by “ded” (as my significant other @DallyDragon calls it).
At the autumn 🍂 conference of my union the #GEWBerlin near the #TegelerSee. As you can see see my union looks after its delegates (apologies to vegans and vegetarians).
Day 2 of #ICLHE symposium at #FHAW Zürich in #Winterthur Patrick Studer called it composium - bigger than a symposium, but smaller than a conference. @DallyDragon (my significant other) came up with symference (flows better). Next year‘s conference will be in Göteborg, Sweden 🇸🇪
My #ICLHE name badge reveals a career in Vienna I might have had, but never did 😉Patrick Studer for the #ZHAW #Winterthur local organising committee welcomes us to the composium (cross-between conference and symposium) and tells us there are attendees from 26 countries!
Here is where I have been on 3rd October in previous years. Can you name the city/country from the photos?
The Bi+ flag has been raised at the HQ of @spdberlin It was great to get to know my comrades from @SPDqueerBerlin there.
Amazingly I agree 95% with Rees Mogg. Having spent most of my adult life in Germany 🇩🇪 I strongly identify with my adopted home country. However, it is ok to follow the customs of your 1st culture, unless they clash with the new culture. youtu.be/dCVCBlk-jk8?is=Wfu1…
I presented #CallMyBluff as a multifaceted activity in the language classroom #SprachenBuTa youtu.be/jPRoo8rzIpM?is=STdk…
This evening I am at a discussion of the #GEWBerlin with the higher education representatives in the Berlin Parliament #Abgeordnetenhaus On 20th September a new Parliament will be elected #Wahl2026Berlin
At the tail end of my Belgium 🇧🇪 Germany 🇩🇪 UK 🇬🇧 holiday at the French 🇫🇷 Change Festival in Düsseldorf – at Düsseldorf, Germany
We departed on time and I am enjoying a tasty lunch in #EuroStar #StandardPlus after my successful 25 € upgrade bid. I hope to make my connection to Hasselt (genever central of Belgium 🇧🇪 /Flanders) at 4.40pm.
Nigel Farage said Zia Yusef needs a ticking off for calling Ben Wallace a traitor. I agree with him, except he needs a darn sight more than this. Calling a politician a traitor encourages your minions to attack them physically. youtu.be/riNRfY9lyKI?is=WKcL…
Today it‘s 31C in Cologne so I was very happy to spend an hour in the #DBLounge #deutschebahn
youtu.be/U30uxE_VNk0?is=F99A… I’d vote for Count Binface. I think he’d make a good constituency MP.
