Bonnie Greer was very impressive last night on Question Time, the only one who dealt with the heart of the matter of so many questions, it seemed to me. Scaramouchi was also surprisingly thoughtful. Pity we suffer from a poverty of intelligent political leadership at the moment.

Perhaps this doesn’t need spelling out but I’ll say it anyway: eugenics was the core ‘idea’ of the Nazis justifying their invasions, colonisation of the ‘East’ and the genocides and mass murder of whoever they deemed ‘inferior’ people(s). They actually did it. Not just a theory.
