🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting after a 22-year-old who runs into BURNING BUILDINGS as a volunteer firefighter was told he isn't qualified to be a paid firefighter... ...because he was HOMESCHOOLED. Then the city changed the job posting to cover it up. His name is Andrew Coates. He's 22 years old, in Nebraska. Right now, today, he runs into burning buildings as a volunteer firefighter for Cedar Bluffs Fire. He is a state-licensed EMT. He is doing the job. For free. All he wanted was to get PAID to do it. In his words: "Make a career out of it would be the goal. To get paid to do what you love." So he applied to the Fremont Fire Department. And in April, the city rejected him. Why? Because his high school diploma says he was homeschooled. That's it. That's the whole disqualification. Not his EMT license. Not his fitness. Not his record. Not his experience pulling people out of fires ALREADY!! ...how he was educated. The job posting he applied to said "graduation from high school." That's all it said. He graduated high school. He has a diploma. And AFTER they rejected him, the city went back and added the word "accredited" to the job description. His own fire chief, the man who has watched Andrew work, showed up to defend him: "I feel the city of Fremont is really missing out here, and in my mind, because of his homeschooling, you guys are discriminating against him." Over THIRTY homeschool families showed up to stand behind this kid. And the Civil Service Commission? They said it isn't their job to touch city policy. Homeschoolers are literally a generation of kids who read ABOVE grade level, who work with their HANDS, who volunteer in their communities, who show up for their neighbors. And this young man is the proof. At 22, he's a certified EMT and a volunteer firefighter, while plenty of his peers are on a couch. When your house is on fire at 3 a.m., I promise you will not ask the man dragging your children out where he went to high school. You will not ask if his diploma was accredited. You will thank GOD he came. Andrew isn't even fighting for himself anymore. His words: "I think now it's turned into we want to make sure that every homeschooler has an equal opportunity." That's a better man than the policy that rejected him. Fremont, you have a licensed EMT and an active firefighter begging to serve your city. And you turned him down over paperwork, then rewrote the paperwork to cover it. Fix this. Hire him!!!!!!!

Prayers, please! Beautiful, humbling news for Friends of the Bridegroom. Come, Holy Spirit, lead us always.
Dear friends, I would like to share a special message with you. After several years of private discernment, I would like to announce to you with great reverence and care that, with the blessing of my religious community the Sisters of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT) and the Archbishop of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, his Excellency Jeffrey S. Grob, I am officially entering into a time of public discernment of the foundation of a new religious community, Friends of the Bridegroom.    The pathway here has been richly blessed by the wisdom and guidance of my spiritual director, my superiors, the competent ecclesiastical authorities, and so many dear friends and advisors.    As many of you know, my years of work in the area of healing, as well as my work with religious sisters, general superiors, bishops, and priests have allowed me to see and experience the need and ache for the ongoing healing and renewal of our clergy and religious sisters.    For the past three years, I have served as the Executive Director of Friends of the Bridegroom with Fr. John Burns. Friends of the Bridegroom is an apostolate that seeks to renew the Church through the renewal of religious life and the priesthood. It has been a profoundly blessed time, and the Lord has continually stirred a desire in all of us in the apostolate to discern the foundation of a new community of priests, religious sisters, and laity who would work toward this important renewal. During this time of public discernment, the Friends of the Bridegroom ministry and my public activities connected with this discernment will remain under the pastoral care and oversight of Archbishop Jeffrey Grob, Archbishop of Milwaukee. I am deeply grateful for his willingness to accompany and guide this discernment during this important time.   I am truly grateful for the support of so many people over the years and I continue to count on your prayers and support as we discern this very important step. During this time of public discernment, I remain a Sister of good standing with SOLT and will continue to wear the SOLT Sisters habit.    Once again, I extend my tremendous gratitude to Sister Mary Aloysius of Jesus, SOLT General Sister Servant, her General Council, and Archbishop Jeffrey Grob.    Please pray for the renewal of the priesthood and religious life. The Church does not exist for herself, but to lead every person to an encounter with the Lord. It is therefore not enough to ask whether an activity is well organized, well attended, or has been running for many years. We must ask whether it truly leads people to Christ and brings the Gospel into contact with the concrete realities of people’s lives.

BREAKING: I just signed an EXECUTIVE ORDER to dramatically accelerate independent oversight of AI companies and advance the creation of an “AI kill switch.” With Donald Trump and Congress failing to lead, California is stepping up to keep all Americans safe.

At this point, the federal gov’t should assign Nick a security detail. He’s doing AG level investigations without the title. National security type work.

🚨 IT'S OFFICIAL: 12 MIDDLE EASTERN MIGRANTS were arrested by HSI for running fraudulent ghost daycares in San Diego CA, and ALL of them have foreign names $10 million stolen. ALL 12 OF THEM. Not one is an American 😡 Per Fox, the arrests happened late last week and federal agents carried out CRIMINAL search warrants across the county They totally fabricated childcare forms to steal millions THEIR NAMES, AND COUNTRY: Fosiya Mohamoud, Somalia Abdulrahman Alawad, Syria Zetun Abdi, Somalia Ikramullah Mohmmand, Afghanistan Khetam Haouash, Syria Khatera Hashimi, Afghanistan Mariam Khamis, Sudan Mohamad Alawad, Syria Mazin Alawad, Syria Turkiya Alawad, Syria Zaryab Daudzai, Afghanistan Cezar Yaqoob, Iraq All typical American names...THIS IS WHO DEMOCRATS PRIORITIZE OVER US! This is the exact kind of scheme that was exposed by both @nickshirleyy and @amyforsandiego earlier this year It turns out, citizen journalists are doing America a MASSIVE SERVICE and Donald Trump's administration is SUCCEEDING in the all-out war on fraud 🇺🇸 I hope EACH AND EVERY ONE of them are deported!

A Virginia bishop just did something never done before. Bishop Michael Burbidge ordered every priest in his diocese to read a letter at Mass, exposing a ballot question that would allow abortion up to birth. Dismembering fully developed children in the womb is not “healthcare,” it’s murder.

When Christians use the word “generosity” they mean “generosity with your own money.” When progressives use the word “generosity” they mean “voting for the government to forcibly redistribute other people’s money.”

The tragic case of the young Cambridge professor, Jason Arday, has shed new light on the moral vacuity at the heart of Wokeism. If I can state the matter abstractly, one should never place relative values in the center of one’s ethical concern. Only absolute goods belong in that location. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are values, but only, as the medievals would have said, secundum quid and not in se. That means they are worthwhile sometimes and under certain conditions, but not in themselves. In contrast, love and justice are absolute moral principles, for they are always applicable, no matter the circumstances. Wokeism relativized justice (rendering to each his due) and love (willing the true good of the other) and absolutized diversity, equity, and inclusion. The result is the moral shipwreck that we have been witnessing the last ten years. What makes things even sadder is that lots of people have been profiting off of this moral confusion.
