So let me get this straight, @Dave_Eby launches an entire campaign around Buy Canada, then goes and stands in front of Cdn-owned Save-on-Foods and slams BC billionaire owner Jimmy Pattison (who donates 10% of annual wealth per year to charity) as a profit gouger, when Pattison is helping him fund $75m towards the NDP's new St. Paul's hospital through the largest donation by a private citizen to a medical facility in Canadian history?
Ooooooookay.
Interesting point re: @Dave_Eby's sudden war on Cdns Jimmy Pattison and Galen Weston as billionaire gouging grocery owners, w/out calling out US giants during campaign urging buy Cdn.
"Jimmy and his family own Save On Foods, they are going to be just fine," says Eby.
Ignoring perhaps Pattison's many donations to hospitals, etc in BC.
I will be talking about my favourite @thenfb animated films on Canada Day. Eating @RioTheatre's fabulous 🍿popcorn🍿 and watching cartoons is a great way to Celebrate 🇨🇦Canada🇨🇦, so come on down July 1st at 3:30.
Hilarious? Pathetic? Take your pick.

Yeah, AI has its uses.
Another day, another meltdown because the rules applied to him. America deserves a president, not a toddler with a microphone. Nothing says strong leadership like pouting on the world stage. 🍼. #tantrum

Donald Trump claims his desire for Canada to become the 51st state is real.
Canada has already spoken and their answer is for Trump to go fuck himself.
Got @blinkforhome Outdoor 4 camera and surprised to find that by design, they stop recording after 30 seconds and only restart after a 10 second gap. This means that during an incident lasting 80 secs, 33% of the action goes unrecorded. Why? amazon.ca/Blink-Outdoor-4th-…
Hey, every single episode of @BobandMargaret is on Youtube thanks to Retro Rerun. Here's season one, in case you missed it 26 years ago. (Yikes!!)

If you happen to be in LA next week and feel like seeing a couple of short animated films with Ice Age on the giant screen at @TheAcademy Museum, now's your chance! Honoured to share the short bill with Ice Age and Cordell Barker's classic. @thenfb discoverlosangeles.com/event…
Hey Vancouver, this is truly one of the greatest animated features I have ever seen and it is playing a bunch of times at the @theCinematheque on Howe St. Moving, hypnotic and hilarious, but don't go expecting a Pixar movie! thecinematheque.ca/films/202…

Hey @Fidomobile, you owe me $55 and I'm told it will take 90 days to send a cheque. How come you can take 90 days, but if I tried to do that with money I owed you, I would get late payment charges and possibly have my account terminated?
So every year I make an impact movie to show how @HHTHVancouver uses its funds to support people in need in our community. This short film features the amazing Mark Brand of @abetterlifevan. They do fabulous work. youtu.be/hNDCKm_XEx0?si=GKOP…
Shocked and humbled to win an award at the @AFPVancouver Giving Hearts Foundation Awards today for our work supporting the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation @VGHFdn. We are privileged to be able to help and give back in some way after all VGH did for us.
Yours truly will be skating with ex-NHL pros to raise money for the homeless here in Vancouver. (When I say "skating with..." I use the term loosely.) Proud to work on the committee with @Canucks JT Miller's lovely wife, Natalie. vancouverisawesome.com/canuc…
