With Trump on the ballot, we need strong, principled Democrats in Congress more than ever. In Congress, @LatimerforNY will protect abortion rights, stand up to the NRA, and fight for President Biden’s agenda—just like he’s always done. Make a plan to vote by June 25th!

Good morning. He bought himself some time. Not vindication. SCOTUS might be apathetic to the threat he represents. You are not. He is hoping this will discourage and demoralize you. It will not. There is no version of this story where he’s back in the White House and free of his crimes. You determine how this ends. Not him.

SNL asked me to do the 40th Anniversary celebration of musical guests but I think they realized a bit before the Anniversary that getting permissions was hard. I might have to delete this tweet

God said “I need a man who failed in everything but theft and broken promises to live in a golden palace and convince the poor he serves their needs.” So God made Trump.

Jon Stewart delivers another crushing truth. 🔥 Why do we let corporations socialize financial losses and privatize their gains? Let that marinate for a few minutes before commenting, it might be a little heavy at first.

BREAKING: Morgan Stanley is now crediting 'Bidenomics' for an unexpectedly high growth in GDP and an 'economic surge'. Morgan Stanley now says that they are making a “sizable upward revision” to the US GDP estimates for this year, crediting Biden's 2021 infrastructure bill. The bank says that they are revising the GDP figures for the first half of this year by nearly 400% from 0.5% growth to 1.9% growth. They have also raised their GDP outlook for the fourth quarter of this year and next year. With inflation plunging and the jobs market still hot, I'm curious how one can continue to attack Biden's economic policies when the numbers continue to improve following the COVID mess. If you thought Reaganomics was good, then how can you claim that Bidenomics is bad? What am I missing?

Way to talk in generalities Joe. Not saying there aren't a lot of fucked up things about pharma. That's why we created Costplusdrugs.com. But to ignore that the same industry has saved who knows how many lives is bullshit and you know it. It's also disrespectful to all the doctors, researchers and medical professionals that dedicate their lives to saving lives, like Dr Hotez and the 800k plus doctors in the country that believe vaccines save lives You arent trying to find the ground truth on vaccines. If you were you would bring on someone who focused on debating the issue. Like @thereal_truther . Trying to bully Dr Hotez is ridiculous. You have producers that will prepare you and you get to control the conversation. @RobertKennedyJr also has a staff ready to prepare him, and these topics are what he talks about in every speech. You both do this on a daily basis Dr Hotez works every day to try to find ways to help people. Joe , you and @elonmusk's @twitter are the mainstream online media and your platforms have become everything supposedly wrong with MSM. You are driven by self interest. Just like the MSM always has been accused of. And you both have earned that right. You busted your asses to be great at what you do and earned all you have accomplished. But don't lie to yourselves and all of us and tell us you are different. You aren't.
That would be a great suggestion if you could assure that the industry you were representing wasn’t completely captured by heartless monsters who have a history of some of the biggest criminal fines in human history because their deception has cost hundreds of thousands of people their lives. It would be a great suggestion if the industry you were defending didn’t occasionally look at human beings as an opportunity to generate insane wealth regardless of the tragic consequences. But you can’t do that, so… maybe it would be a good idea to have a fucking debate.

Clarence Thomas’s Ex-Girlfriend Speaks Lillian McEwen came to know Clarence Thomas quite intimately back in the day. While Clarence has elected not to write or speak publicly of Lily, Lily has often chosen to be forthcoming about her relationship with Clarence — having much to say over the years. Lily recalls, following the breakup of his first marriage, Clarence did not particularly like himself. Lily said she was never judgmental, but she provides candid, disturbing descriptions of Clarence: He was a selfish, sloppy drunk, who would come to her apartment and drink all the liquor. He was slovenly, and dressed like a bum. He was addicted to porn. Clarence was a rather angry, vengeful man. Oozing hatred for Blacks who disagreed with him, Clarence Thomas regularly recited a racist chant under his breath — a chant featuring the “n” word. Early 1980s: According to numerous women, as he slogged away at an EEOC job he loathed, Clarence Thomas was consistently aggressive and inappropriate with women. Targeting and stalking women in the workplace. Preying upon his female subordinates. Women hid from him. Women quit their jobs to escape him. The Metamorphosis It is Lily’s remembrance that Clarence Thomas possessed and effectuated the ability to transform and mask himself in order to succeed. Thomas devoted the late ‘80s to molding himself into his vision of the the ideal Black conservative — striving to win attention and success in elite political circles, especially the Reagan and Bush administrations. “I’m their guy,” Clarence would chime, radiating with pride. White conservatives were in awe of Clarence Thomas, and he was beyond thrilled by the glowing adoration and acceptance. Clarence Thomas’s strenuous efforts to be a model Black conservative did pay off in his professional life, but not with the more liberal Lily. Instant Chemistry In 1986, Clarence met Ginni Lamp — ultra-conservative and white. Even though he had long been strongly opposed to interracial romance, there was something about his connection with Ginni that changed his mind. Clarence soon became Ginni’s guy. Marriage ensued in 1987, and the evolution of Clarence Thomas continued — further right. By 1989, Clarence felt like he was truly President George H. W. Bush’s guy — set for a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court. Black Solidarity In 1991, the GOP’s ideal Black conservative was indeed nominated. Incredibly, simply because of Thomas’s race, there was broad support in the Black community for Clarence Thomas when he was first nominated for the Supreme Court to replace Justice Thurgood Marshall. Ultimately, however, upon close examination and consideration of Thomas, America’s most prominent Black leaders resolutely rejected him. Additionally, abortion rights groups criticized and campaigned against him. Still, Clarence Thomas appeared to be on his way to an easy confirmation, until the hint of a dramatic bombshell suddenly surfaced. Details below in Slow Burn:

Now’s a good time to remind everyone, the Celtics have won one ring in the past 37 years. The vast majority of their rings came when there were 8 teams in the league. The idea that they’re the greatest franchise ever is laughable.
