Agree with Nate here.
This has everything to do with game situation and broadcaster style than anything to do with any sort of biases.
Joe's calls have been fine.
It's simple -- If you want unfettered excitement for the team you want to win, listen to their radio feed.

Re: national broadcaster discourse.
1. Joe’s voice is not 100% — that’s nobody’s fault.
2. This is a perfectly normal call of a fourth-inning homer. A big chunk of the problem is kids raised on reaction videos and engagement farming who except screaming for literally anything.

I think the Joe Davis hate is getting a little absurd. He’s calling a game on NATIONAL TELEVISION.
He’s supposed to be as impartial as possible and a second inning double play to get out of a jam isn’t something any announcer is going to freak out over.
It’s that time of year again: the Bruins are the NATV free game of the week this Saturday. Games at 6:05 CT on Saturday so if you’re not doing anything and wanna tune in for a bit it’s over on NAHLTV.com
