I’m not sure I understand this disgust towards Arsenal’s ‘style’ yesterday (although it’s the most predictable thing ever). From what I remember, we were the much better team on and off the ball for the first 15 mins, scored a wonderful team goal, hung on for 30 or so, then actually created the better chances in the second half and controlled the tempo too. Played some lovely football through midfield as well. Liverpool were frantic but did that lead to any better opportunities than the ones Arsenal worked for themselves? I don’t think so, outside that Mac Allister header

Max Dowman serving a three match ban while both those Nyoni tackles aren’t even a yellow. Difficult not to despair really.

This is really poor by @FA. The governing body is supposed to protect players. It should be disputing this regulatory commission verdict by members drawn from the FA judicial panel. Max Dowman could have suffered a bad injury to his standing leg from a dangerous challenge which went unpunished. Arsenal 16-year-old shouldn’t have reacted but his frustration was understandable. Some other players might have rolled around and ensured a bad challenge was punished. Dowman didn’t. He doesn’t stay down. The FA should have shown some understanding towards Dowman. Instead, it has suspended him for three games. FA priorities all wrong: tolerating a poor challenge and some weak refereeing but punishing a kid who objected to a bad challenge that could have dealt him a serious injury. Protect players. #AFC

You simply can’t beat this PSG going attack for attack
Shows how stupid people are for hating on Arteta’s tactics in the final
If we had one attacker capable of being decisive in transition we would’ve killed that game. Exact profiles Arteta wanted in Vini/Alvarez/Rogers
The way back from Allianz Arena is an absolute nightmare. I can’t say that I can judge them.

This always failed the "smell" test. Now in light of the announcement yesterday, the relationship between Michael Oliver, these officials & Abu Dhabi regime needs further scrutiny.

What I find incredibly frustrating is the hypocrisy in ideals we approach squad building with.
I don’t mind prioritizing certain things but we simply don’t ever “Ezri Konsa” the attack let alone approach fwd signings with any efficiency or urgency to the same degree.
