The Chancellor should cancel her visit to China, and instead give an emergency statement setting out how she’ll grow the UK economy, including by scrapping the government’s damaging jobs tax.
With the £ falling and borrowing costs soaring, this should be the priority.

It is time for Parliament to stand up and take action on the sewage crisis after years of failure under the Conservatives.
Liberal Democrats have today tabled an amendment to Labour’s Water Bill, to outlaw bonuses for Water company bosses. This disgraced industry has shown it is not worthy of any bonuses, while they fail customers and continue to dump sewage in our water ways.
The proposed increase in parking charges is a modest amount compared to the overall budget gap. I have concerns about the impact on residents and businesses, especially like #Norwich, #King’sLynn, & #GreatYarmouth, where parking costs have risen this year. #Norfolk #Parking

Appalled that Tories shut down debate on plans to reduce minimum income guarantee at today's NCC meeting. Democracy was silenced. Despite strong opposition from public, they seem set to press ahead with move. This is just plain wrong and a slap in the face for vulnerable people.
Reminds me of this quote: An ignorant person is inclined to blame others for their own misfortune. To blame oneself is proof of progress. But the wise person never has to blame another or their self.
