And there are still people who think AI has yet to show a positive ROI
Wall Street cuts its price targets on Alphabet $GOOGL $GOOG following its Q3 earnings, citing weaker Search growth and rising AI spending:

MoffettNathanson: $370 → $345 (Buy) – Disappointing Q3 results raise concerns about Alphabet’s growth outlook.
TD Cowen: $485 → $460 (Buy) – Search and YouTube missed estimates, but Cloud revenue doubled amid surging AI demand.
JPMorgan: $425 → $375 (Overweight) – Heavy AI spending pressures cash flow, but Search headwinds appear manageable.
Piper Sandler: $400 → $345 (Overweight) – Slower Search growth and weaker AI monetization raise concerns.
Barclays: $425 → $405 (Overweight) – Search faces tougher comparisons and modest AI Mode disruption, but challenges appear temporary.
UBS: $380 → $332 (Neutral) – Search and YouTube misses, stagnant Cloud margins, and heavy TPU investments threaten profitability and cash flow.

Google's $GOOG EPS CAGR over last 15 years has been 20% and its ACCELERATING over the last 5 years to a 30% CAGR (see table below).
$GOOG has mogged the S&P over any relevant timeframe precisely because the multiple is always too low relative to the business quality. This is precisely because boomer PMs (read: "Dinosaurs") think 20x EPS is expensive for a company that has a 25%+ ROIC and a net cash balance sheet.
After the -10% move AH, the stock trades at 14x 2028 with a net cash balance sheet, obviously retardedly low for the business quality. Yet, PMs wont massively overweight it. Active management does itself no favors...
Please spare me the "your analysis is backwards looking, Search is going to die, etc" in the comments.... Google has as much if not more talent than any company in the world... they'll be just fine.

We're about to enter a period where not reading or writing becomes as ubiquitous as smoking once was. We can hope people will eventually realize this is bad for them, as they did with smoking. But this is far from certain; the cost may not be as obvious.

Writing is the superpower of humankind. It is our truest form of magic.
Writing allows you to conjure up something of value where nothing previously existed. It costs little for you to write down the lessons of your life and yet those few minutes spent writing can be life-altering for the right reader. As I once saw it put: "there is someone out there with a wound in the exact shape of your words."
Furthermore, writing is the foundation of nearly every technology and innovation because we have to record what we know before we can build upon it. And these innovations are passed down from generation to generation, allowing our children to inherit a richer intellectual fortune than what we were born into. The world is richer because we write and nobody is made poorer in the process.

Tesla is already pulling away from Waymo in Austin. 438K driverless miles last week vs Waymo’s 406K (Q2 average) even as Waymo had a 5-year head start.
This is going to get ugly for Waymo. Tesla will own the robotaxi industry. $TSLA
