McDonald’s America: “black trans women want you to stop killing them”
McDonald’s Japan:
It's really big.
The bosses are very spread out.
The quests can be very tedious.
The music is meh.
You can't leave it easily after killing the last boss.
There isn't really any famously good loot.
I love the idea of gnomer but it feels like it should have been a 40-man.

This was my Picard/3 lights moment
5th grade the teacher gave us this question
Everyone except me got it wrong, including her
She got the whole class to "explain" it to me
Math is just logic, there is no ambiguity, I could not see their answer
Then she assigned a girl to take me aside and lecture me
Most Soviet experience of my life, including my north Korea trip
At parent/teacher conference she told my folks that she thought about it later that night and realized I was right
Never said anything to me or apologized in front of the class
In a free society she would have been put against the wall for doing what she did to a kid

RE: Bioware's closure, I am reminded of this post from Conan which always stuck with me that 100 percent applies to the writing in games too.
If you have freaks in that writers room, it will absolutely show through. Not many are willing to spend 70 bucks for that privilege.

DEVELOPING:
The Coalition is closing too.
Gears of War: E-Day reportedly cost over $500 million to develop, excluding marketing.
A source familiar with Xbox’s business says the budget exceeds earlier reports of over $400 million.
Alinea Analytics estimates around 230,000 copies sold in the first week, generating about $37 million. Microsoft has not yet released official sales or player numbers.
A PS5 release probably wouldn’t have solved the problem. Gears of War: Reloaded sold 684,000 copies on PS5, which would have added roughly $33 million in revenue for E-Day after platform fees.
If true, the studio is cooked, Asha is coming for them.

This post attaches a fabricated announcement of The Coalition closing its doors. In reality the studio hasnt closed despite concerns over E-Day performance.

Interesting.
I wonder if it'll get the Duke nukem Forever treatment.
A former BioWare employee uploaded this Mass Effect Universe (Mass Effect 5) trailer on Reddit! According to another employee, this trailer was ready a few months ago. #MassEffect
People are saying it was wokeness that killed BioWare, but the reality is this is a very long time coming.
The last good game they made came out in like 2012 and they've been coasting on their 2000s era successes for well over a decade.
Shambling zombie finally put down.

Lindsay Graham wasn't gay. He was a sensitive young old man whose love for his country, and also for another smaller country, always took precedence.

The moment you learn the backstory, it becomes apparent that this might actually be the worst political attack ad in American history.
BOMBSHELL:
Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton’s own mother urges voters not to vote for her daughter.
“My name is Donna Arthur and I’m Amy Acton’s mother. I worked at Children and Family Service Association, building one of the first two sexual abuse programs in America.
I love my daughter, but when I saw her lying about her opponent—and it’s not easy for a mother to say this—but Amy has a serious problem.
She is a liar. She lies about her past. She says she grew up living in a tent. None of that is true. She’s lied her entire life.
My daughter needs help, and she can’t help you if she needs help herself. People can change, but first they have to tell the truth, and my daughter still isn’t doing that.
Don’t vote for people who lie. Don’t let her become your governor. If you think she’ll make your life better, you’re fooling yourself. It will only get worse.”
That’s one hell of an October surprise.

Acton's mother lost custody of her children after years of documented issues, including time spent living in a tent and a spouse who sexually abused her daughter Amy (Acton). Amy Acton's brother has also confirmed this story.

At this point I'd like to point out that Rowling describes the evil journalist (but I repeat myself) Rita Skeeter as having a "square jaw," "mannish hands" and a "low voice" - and many of the characters only reluctantly call her a "woman."
