Which is fair James, and it was what made BioWare great. Games were about exploring ideas, talking and giving people the agency to respond.
Veilguard got turned into a railroad where ideas were told to the player not discussed with them. It’s a shame that it happened.
Except you didn’t fight back. You all went along with the summer of BLM and Covid rules.

The industry isn’t cannibalising itself. Modern BioWare failed to make games that sold, and now has been closed. They were given almost a decade to make a good game and failed. At some point, this is a self-inflicted injury
BioWare is gone.
The developers that once turned games into magical experiences were already long gone and it showed.
Perhaps this is for the best.
