Settling in nicely at home. My walking improving daily and even doing some while not weight bearing on the cane at all!!!! The stairs are a beast I’m only doing those once each way everyday. Thanks to all that have reached out to see how we’re all doing. We got this 2/2

Been home 3 full days now and what a difference. Went “out” yesterday to watch peyton dance and see carson play flag football. So incredible to watch them both compete. 1/2

Wow the emotions as I walked into the house for the first time since January 6. So blessed to have my incredible family

Well March 9’s finally here. To call last nights sleep an anxious one would be a huge understatement. I’m going home to my family today. This has been incredibly hard work and that doesn’t stop when I leave here. Thank you to Shannon for coming to see me each and every day.

Health update.final one from riverview. So it’s official after nearly 2 months of extremely hard work I got word that on March 9th I’m going home.

Not a huge deal for most but I walked up and down these steps today. Making progress everyday.

Health update part 7. Nearly 6 weeks post stroke and the walking starting to take shape thanks in part to my custom walking cast by Anderson thanks @hldrtght for the incredible product. Did 3 laps x 25 m yesterday

Health update part5.Never thought I’d need to learn to walk again but I do plan on walking out of here upon my release. Keep the prayers coming my family needs them

Health update part 3.Jan 18. Im transported to River view health care centre. Im in for heavy rehab as I have no feeling or movement on my left side plus I can’t walk.HSC didn’t allow visitors so the move to riverview (which allows 2 visitors is great news)

Health update part 2 Jan 6. I’m taken by ambulance to HSC where upon admission I’m given a 50/50 chance of surviving the night. I end up spending nearly 2 weeks at hsc in various wards.

Healthupdate part 1 Jan 6i suffer a near life ending Hemorrhagic stroke. This occurs while alone at work. Thankfully Shannon upon not being able to Reach me comes to my office with Carson and dad. They find me laying on the floor unable to get up. They quickly call an ambulance

There’s something to be said about coming in as the underdog @VMCTrojansFball came in with the game plan and executed it perfectly. So proud of Carson and all his teammates.

Ok, it’s been a couple of years since I updated the “1st day of school pic”. With this being Carson’s graduating year needed to ensure one was done!! The addition of “the girl” sure adds to the picture! #growingupsofast
