Melbourne Match Simulation – Q3 Notes (Final) 🔴 Standouts • Harvey Langford is unbelievable for 19. Clean, composed, and makes elite decisions look routine. Special. • Caleb Windsor snagged one from 45 on the run to start the term. He's arguably been BOG. • Max Heath doing his best Gawn impression, floating back for intercept grabs and backing it up with strong second efforts at ground level. • Paddy Cross now three set-shot goals from pockets. • Tairon Ah Mu is making Jed Adams look silly. He's kicked 3.2 • Blake Howes continues to hit targets going inside 50. Ball use has been sharp. 🔵 Ball Movement / System • Transition footy looks so much cleaner. Quick hands, fast chains, almost one-touch stuff. • Chandler arguably the best i50 user today. Low, stabbing passes to leading targets. Also very vocal when things get cramped, directing traffic and keeping structure. • Mihocek composed at high half-forward. Takes the grab, makes the right decision quickly. 🔴 Key Position Watch • Ah-Mu has absolutely monstered Jed Adams aerially. Should realistically have five, sits at 3.2 in just three quarters. Massive presence. • Jefferson hasn’t returned since landing heavily from his contested mark. Hopefully precautionary (hip). • JVR quiet but the white team hasn’t generated much inside 50. 🔵 Roles / Rotations • Koltyn still stationed at half-back. New look role? • Xavier Lindsay also holding down a HBF role all day. • Langdon chase-down tackle on the wing on Ollie Green was brutal. • Tommy Matthews showing real dash. Needs more of it but the speed is obvious. • Mentha had some nice moments, needs to stamp himself more consistently. 🔴 End Q3 Goal Tally Paddy Cross – 3 Ah-Mu – 3.2 Checkers – 2 Langdon – 2 Sharp – 2.1 Bonner – 2 Windsor – 1.2 Fritsch – 1.2 Jefferson – 1.1 Roo – 1 Melksham – 1 Laurie – 1 Chin – 0.2 Langford – 0.1 Steele – 0.1 Mentha – 0.1 Kentfield – 0.1 Big takeaways: pace of ball movement + method inside 50 still the theme. Far less chaos, far more control. Stream say it's concluded after three periods, must be a short session today. If anyone has nay questions, feel free to ask away. #AwakenYourDemon @The_DeeBrief
