🇮🇱 Could Benjamin Netanyahu's biggest challenge come from Gadi Eisenkot?
Israel's political landscape could be heading for a major shift. According to Global Online Data's estimates as of October 27, Gadi Eisenkot leads with a 59% chance, followed by Benjamin Netanyahu at 30% and Naftali Bennett at 11%.
But election probabilities are not guarantees, and Israel's next Prime Minister will ultimately depend on parliamentary numbers and coalition-building.
Do you think Netanyahu can stage a comeback, or is Israel ready for new leadership?
Gadi Eizenkot is a retired IDF Lieutenant General and the former Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (2015–2019), who later served as a minister in Benjamin Netanyahu’s emergency war cabinet. After resigning in protest in mid-2024 over the lack of a clear post-war strategy, he founded and now leads the centrist Yashar (“Straight”) party.
Benjamin Netanyahu is the longest-serving prime minister in Israeli history. His governance has centered on strict national defense, economic deregulation, and aggressive counter-terrorism stances against regional adversaries. He remains a deeply polarizing figure both domestically and internationally while continuing to shape Israel’s political and military strategies.
Naftali Bennett is an Israeli politician, businessman, and former military officer who served as the 13th Prime Minister of Israel from June 2021 to June 2022. He subsequently served as the alternate prime minister until November 2022. Known for his background as a tech millionaire turned right-wing politician, Bennett currently leads the “Bennett 2026” party.
