From chapel to soup kitchen, youth club to theatre, what a fascinating 50 year history of @Ovalhouse now @BrxHouseTheatre last night. Part of the brilliant Lambeth Heritage Festival, the talk by @DeborahBestwick revealed a vital history of radical theatre making. @LambethArchives

Gutted to be told today that @suffolkcc will make a 100% cut to arts and culture organisations in Suffolk. This is short-term thinking! Arts and Culture organisations support the most vulnerable in our community, improve health & well-being and bring investment into our region!

After securing 2021/22 funding for improvements to Northborough Rd playground (under last administration), we worked with @NorburyGreenRA to engage residents on the design, it was great to see it used this morning by little ones after being formally opened by the Mayor 🛝
#bbcqt Tonight’s discussion about the horrendous murder of a girl focussed on ‘knife crime’ in the context of boys who carry knives to protect themselves from each other. No reference to the problem of violence by men against women and girls.

This family, showing how it’s done in the fast lane at Brockwell Lido, were rescued by a swan sanctuary yesterday. Chlorinated water and nothing to eat isn’t good for goslings. @BrockwellLido
@BrockwellLido The sustained closure of the women’s showers and changing room is an equalities issue! I suggest alternating the remaining change room for men and women. Either on a weekly or daily basis, announced on the website.
They have done it! Well done Brockwell Lido @BrockwellLido ! I did mention it to one of the Reception staff last week and she said they would talk to management. Thank you and well done!
