Impressive @Arsenal What a weekend for the Gunners. Yes, Manchester City throwing away two points at the death was significant. But for me, the real story was Arsenal’s overall performance away at Bournemouth. The home side may not be in great form, but Arsenal showed authority, maturity, and control throughout. There are so many positives to take from this performance. Gabriel I won’t state the obvious about him being one of the best defenders around. What stood out instead was his mentality. He went from a brief “blackout” moment to scoring within six minutes, a clear sign of character, attitude, and elite mental strength. Declan Rice He is as close as you get to the perfect professional. His presence on the pitch is unmistakable. The energy he brings is contagious, and when he adds goals to his game like Saturday, he becomes an absolute giant. Martin Ødegaard I’ve known this kid since he was 15. After his injury, he’s once again back at his best. He’s a chess player on the pitch, seeing moves two or three steps ahead of everyone else. Gyökeres I come from the striker’s camp, where goals matter, a lot. But credit where it’s due: the Swede works tirelessly. He stretches defenses, creates space, and allows others to thrive. Just as importantly, his teammates repay that work with their support. The Bench The depth of this squad is now world-class. In the 67th minute, Arsenal bring on Saka, Trossard, and Jesus, instant quality, instant energy, and total control of the final phase of the game. Arteta After a collection of silver medals, Arteta knows that this season demands gold. So far, he’s delivering. A six-point lead in the Premier League. Top of the Champions League group. Arteta isn’t just a coach anymore, he’s a true manager. @LaurensJulien @FabrizioRomano @cfbayern @altobelli13 @MarkusFjortoft @MarkOgden_
