They call it overthinking when you refuse to ignore the pattern. Smart people just stopped volunteering to be the one who pays for everyone else鈥檚 confusion.

People will defend a lie that protects their ego before they accept a truth that challenges it.

Be difficult to manipulate. Set boundaries. Speak up when something doesn鈥檛 sit right with you. Stop making yourself smaller just to be easier for other people to deal with. The moment you鈥檙e too accommodating, some people start mistaking your kindness for weakness. They assume you鈥檒l keep forgiving them, keep making excuses for them and keep accepting less than you deserve simply because you have a good heart. I鈥檇 rather be called difficult, cold, intimidating or even the villain in someone else鈥檚 story than keep sacrificing my peace to prove I鈥檓 a good person. Not everyone deserves unlimited access to you and not everyone will like you when you finally learn to say no. I鈥檇 rather be misunderstood for having boundaries than be taken advantage of for having none. If protecting myself makes me the villain in someone else鈥檚 story, so be it.

A product is what you sell. Your business model is how you capture value and build an advantage. Features can be copied overnight but distribution, relationships, and brand take years to build. Build beyond the product.
