Stats don't show the following: - A great close out - Helping on D - Altering a shot - Setting a screen/pick - Being a great teammate - Proper floor spacing - Hockey assists - Setting the right pace - Denying the ball Etc. Box Score/adv stats never tell the whole story. #NBA

Do any Celtics fans out there remember the pre-game promo they ran for Alaa Abdelnaby when he was having a strong stretch during the 92-93 season? They changed the lyrics of the Steve Miller Band song Instead of "Abra, Abracadabra" They sang "Alaa, Abracadabra" @alaatweets

Worth bringing up again. Another reminder of how awesome the all-star game was in the 80s. Oh, and make sure to pay attention to the talent on the floor. Ridiculous skill level, superb athletes.

The perfect combination of showmanship combined with competition 🏀1985 NBA All-Star Game Not only is this a reminder that the all-star game used to be entertaining and awesome, but also that there were ridiculously talented players/athletes

61 missed threes. No true hoop head wants to watch this crap. If you love and respect the game, you cannot enjoy this. Mindless basketball. A league full of chuckers.

The Knicks vs Hawks just shot a combined 20/81 (24.6%) from 3 point line. Imagine paying hundreds of dollars to go to a Knicks game in Madison Square Garden just to watch 61 bricked 3s 😂🤣 Make the NBA watchable again 👊🏼

In tonights Celtics versus Pistons game, both teams combined to shoot 27 for 85 from three. 58 missed threes. A percentage of .318% The Pistons alone shot 7 for 37 from three (19%). And only took 10 free throws. Now THAT is dumb basketball.

Just a reminder for those thinking that moving the three point line out, or adding a 4 or 5 point line, is a good idea.

In less than 2 minutes 8 three point attempts 1 two point attempt All misses. I agree that this is one of the many reasons the NBA today is unwatchable.
