Stablecoin Cards now do more in a month than they did in all of 2024 🤯 Not a new chain. Not a token. A debit card. Stablecoin card spending hit $1.1B in a single month, versus roughly $1.08B in all of 2024. Zoom out: → $38M in Q4 2023 → $3.3B in Q3 2026 → 86x growth in less than three years And perhaps the most interesting part: RedotPay kept growing throughout this period, yet its market share dropped from around 85% to 36%. That tells you how quickly the entire category is expanding. And more than 90% of this volume still runs on Visa. Stablecoins spent years trying to replace the traditional rails. USDC Has Nearly Halved USDT's Lead in Ethereum Stablecoins USDT still holds 49.6% of stablecoin supply on Ethereum, versus 31.8% for USDC. Its lead has narrowed from 34.2 points in Nov. 2024 to 17.8 today. Most of that gap closed because USDC grew faster, not because USDT left Ethereum. Total stablecoin supply on Ethereum is 47% higher than it was in Nov. 2024. USDT supply is up 22%, while USDC is up 83%. USDC added $21.3B over the period, accounting for roughly 45% of all net new stablecoin supply on Ethereum. Most of the catch-up happened in 2025, when USDC grew faster as the market expanded. In 2026, both have declined, but USDT supply on Ethereum fell 15.5%, versus just 2.9% for USDC, narrowing the gap further.
