She said that if a man starts mentoring you, he wants to marry you. This is an advice for women to stay alert. She also asks ladies to watch out for the signs. Real talk... I kinda believe what she's saying. Intentional men know when they spot the woman they want to marry.

Just APOLOGIZE to your man when you KNOW you fucked up. Stop twisting the situation, gaslighting him, playing victim, and getting angry because he’s upset about something YOU DID. Sometimes all you need to do is admit you were wrong instead of turning your own mistake into his problem.

Joe Budden opens up with his manager Ian Schwartzman on Built Different about having no steady income in 2017 after leaving rap, the stability of his Complex check, and reflecting on his infamous interview with Lil Yachty on Everyday Struggle: “When I came off a music career, I had no steady income after quitting rap and creating Everyday Struggle. I appreciated the stability of the Complex check—the stability was like hitting the lotto to me.” Ian Schwartzman: “That was a turning point. It went huge, but I think you went back and didn't know why it went viral. What did I say to him that maybe I can work on? Joe Budden: “I was projecting on him. I had to learn to remove myself from these interviews. I had to speak to these people and had to hear from them and not make it about me.” (🎥Built Different / Yahoo Finance)

You gotta remove yourself from the WRONG people… So God can surround you with the RIGHT people… No frienemies in your circle….

Snoop Dogg explained in 80 seconds why men stopped approaching women. Do men not shoot their shot anymore because social media turned dating into a simulation? Snoop says yes, and his reason is better than the usual “phones ruined everything” take. In his era, getting with someone took real effort. You had to look at her, talk to her, get her to like you, and know her parents and how she moved. You had to get involved before you could get involved. Now it’s a couple of pictures and a couple of lines, and people expect something real from a few typed words. The part I found most interesting is his point about texting. A text gives you what he’s typing, not what he’s saying. “You look good today” can read as sweet or creepy depending on the mood of the person reading it. Text has no tone, face or feeling to go with it. Approaching someone in person is hard on purpose. It makes you learn to read people, handle a no, and become someone worth talking to. When you skip that, you also skip what it would have taught you. What he calls the cheat code ended up costing men the skill.

Most things women expect from a man require money, effort, and sacrifice. Most things men want from a woman cost absolutely nothing: respect, loyalty, accountability, and peace. Yet somehow, even the free things are too expensive for some women.

Nelly was PISSED when he heard the "Country Grammar" radio edit for the first time, but when his A&R explained that the edit was better than muting his original lyrics, he fell back, and it was still a hit that fans of all ages can sing 😂 "I never heard the 'Boom, boom, uhh, uhh.' The label did that, and boy, I was hot as fish grease. I said, 'Oh, they trying to ruin me.' ... what the f**k is that?"

I don’t care who you voted for, none of them are fixing this economy. All they’re gonna do is spend more when they get into office. Good luck!

Ice Cube was $100,000 short on a house. He went to his label's office with a baseball bat. The next day, he got a check for $100,000. The phone call, he says: "Cube, I don't know what you talking about. I don't remember saying I would give you that." His answer: "I'm on my way up there." Early 1990s, Los Angeles, Priority Records. His 1990 debut album had already gone platinum, and he was trying to close on a house. He says he walked in with his crew and a bat. The boss was in the bathroom. When he came out, they were waiting. Cube says he "rearranged his office for him." Downstairs, he says, the LAPD was waiting at the elevator. The other owner told police he wanted no charges. Then he asked Cube to call him the next day. Label co-founder Bryan Turner told Rolling Stone: "That did actually happen." He said he should have renegotiated. The movie Straight Outta Compton made it one scene. In the video below, Ice Cube tells how it really went, starting with what the movie got wrong. Was he wrong, if it was the only way to get what he was promised?
