Conductor Pravalika died 10 days later.
A life lost for just ₹90.
24-year-old Gundla Pravalika was a conductor with the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC).
Near Mittagudem village (Aswapuram mandal), passenger Banoth Mounika boarded the bus with her son. She gave a ₹100 note for her son’s ₹10 ticket. Pravalika did not have immediate change, so she wrote ₹90 on the back of the ticket and told her to collect the remaining amount while getting off at the stop. Mounika demanded the change immediately, which led to an argument.
During the argument, Mounika allegedly pushed Pravalika out of the moving bus through the doorway. Pravalika fell onto the road and came under the rear wheels of the bus. Both her legs (especially the right one) were severely crushed.
She was first taken to a government hospital and then shifted to Hyderabad for better treatment. After 10 days of treatment, she died on the night of 3 November 2026.

Do you remember Twisha Sharma—a high-profile suicide case where she died by hanging, and leaked chats revealed she had undergone an abortion, leading to ongoing disputes with her husband and mother-in-law?
Her family accused Twisha’s mother-in-law, Giribala Singh (a retired judge), and her husband, Samarth Singh, of severe charges including dowry harassment and abetment to suicide.
The media covered the news in prime time all day long. There was uproar everywhere, politicians tweeted about it, and people threatened protests.
The Supreme Court also took suo motu cognizance and demanded strict action against the culprits, and the investigation was handed over to the CBI.
Recently, another case has emerged where the son of a politician died by suicide, driven to it by the harassment of his wife and in-laws. His name is Prawal Gupta.
Prawal had married Sneha Gupta about a year ago, in November 2025. Soon after the marriage, disputes and friction began between the couple.
His wife filed cases under allegations of dowry demands, domestic violence, and harassment.
Just before the incident, counseling for both of them was conducted at the women's police station, where Prawal was mistreated and pressured by the police.
Before taking his life, Prawal recorded an 8-minute video in which he accused his wife Sneha Gupta, father-in-law, brother-in-law, and some other relatives of severe mental torture and relentless threats.
Upon receiving the news of his only son's death, BJP leader Rajeev Gupta suffered a deep shock and was immediately admitted to the hospital, where he suffered a heart attack.
In our country, the death of a married woman is automatically labeled as a dowry death or a suicide turned into murder.
For a woman's justice, media outlets and politicians tweet about it, and the Supreme Court takes suo motu cognizance.
On the other hand, when a man dies by suicide despite providing all the evidence, society, politicians, and the media barely talk about it. Men's deaths are simply forgotten.

Malti Devi had an illicit relationship with a man from her village.
The son caught his mother and her lover in a compromising position and was opposing this relationship.
The mother continued her illicit affair, and the son was about to inform his father about it.
