DeepStake voted FOR all three proposals in the first Solana governance (SGP) vote: SGP-0001: the Solana Constitution and on-chain governance SGP-0002: double disinflation, 15% to 30% per year SGP-0003: resource and inclusion fee We know 0002 and 0003 are the uncomfortable ones for validators. Faster disinflation lowers staking rewards for every validator and delegator, and the new resource fee is burned in full, none of it goes to validators. As a small independent validator, we feel both more than most. We voted FOR anyway. Reaching 1.5% terminal inflation roughly three years sooner and fees that scale with the compute a transaction requests make Solana stronger, and a validator is only as valuable as the network it secures. Lower issuance also means how you stake matters more. That is why we build the DeepStake Widget: an open-source widget any validator can embed, with native staking plus BlazeStake and Vault liquid staking in one place. Whatever the emission curve does, we will keep helping stakers get the most out of their SOL. Voting is open until the end of epoch 1023.
