Decent people know this to be true but the violent rhetoric and persistent vitriol from that party over the past few years has been terrifying and it culminated Jan 6. They’ve made violence absolutely normal. Shame.
There is absolutely no place for political violence in our democracy. Although we don’t yet know exactly what happened, we should all be relieved that former President Trump wasn’t seriously hurt, and use this moment to recommit ourselves to civility and respect in our politics. Michelle and I are wishing him a quick recovery.
I can’t take anything in the country seriously. The irony of this man and his entire party continues to stun me every day. Yet we tryna throw Bidey away. I’m standing by my man if they standing by homeboy. Sorry not sorry
