Losing is supposed to hurt, right? From 2000 through today, the Arizona Cardinals’ regular season record is 176 wins, 248 losses, and 2 ties. That means 72 more losses than wins. Truly wonder if the owner hurts? He doesn’t have to buy a ticket, pay for parking, etc. Owning a pro sports franchise is a public trust. Having been here since 1993, very seldom have I felt or heard that the public trusts the owner of the NFL team in this city. The owner has NFL PR and his own corporate PR work/protect his image, but the scoreboard never lies. The calls from fans and some of the media for the owner to sell have been happening since before I got here in 1993. I don’t believe any of the losing and dysfunction hurts this owner. If it did, he’d be on the Flagship radio station tomorrow morning “Talk to the Owner” C’mon Michael show us what you got. No talking points, or pre approved list of questions. Great owners can explain in good times and bad.
