Wrong again @pass_blue. Under the 1947 UN Headquarters Agreement the headquarters district in NYC is in fact still US territory and US law applies there unless specified otherwise.
You should actually read the agreement. I did.

Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto menerima permohonan pertemuan Menteri Luar Negeri (Menlu) Singapura Vivian Balakrishnan di kediamannya di Hambalang, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat, Rabu (28/10/2026) sore.
Pertemuan tersebut merupakan tindak lanjut dari permohonan Menlu Singapura yang tiba di tanah air pada Selasa (27/10/2026), dan memohon waktu untuk dapat bertemu secara langsung dengan Presiden Prabowo.
Presiden Prabowo selanjutnya menerima permohonan tersebut dan menggelar pertemuan bersama Menteri Vivian secara tertutup.

[ Lyman Front, Donetsk region ] The "honeymoon" period for Ukraine at the Lyman comes to an end, as DPA assessed that the Russian forces is now on a major counteroffensive to push the Ukrainians back.
We have previously explained that the Russian "red line" is along the Zherebets River down to Zarichne, and they cannot allow the Ukrainians to take any of the settlements along the line.
Ukraine MOD is STILL reporting Russian attacks at Novoselivka somehow, while Russians are pushing Zelena Dolyna, all the way down to Lyman-Dibrova.

[ Pokrovsk Front, Donetsk region ] We are probably looking at the final stand of the Ukrainian forces north of Pokrovsk (around "The Cluster"), as their position inside the impossible salient is shrinking and looking untenable.
DPA expect the Ukrainian troops to be withdrawn (at great risk) from the impossible salient and concede the entire region south of Dobropillya city to the Russian.
New geolocations, particularly Russians at Petrivka, with the consolidations at Dobropillya, means that the Russia will now likely fully secure the northern regions (shaded yellow), and push the front northward.

[ Dnipro Front, Donetsk region ] Ukrainian forces' made a major advance west of Komar - as they look like they are intending to go directly for Velyka Novosilka instead of securing Komar first...
The area between Voskresenka and Komar (marked in yellow) is assessed have all fallen to the Ukrainian control.
If the surprise push is successful, would be an insane PR and military victory that would cause massive chaos inside of Russia and their narrative.

[ Hulyaipole sector, Zaporizhzhia Front ] Russian Military claim yet another settlement captured, this time round at Obshche.
The claim is a continuation of the series of claim of capture around the Novosoloshyne, which Russia was last geolocated in the east of the settlement.
If the claims are all true, we are looking at a major flanking offensive north of the strategically important town of Omelnyk (under Ukrainian control).
