Most players spend almost all their training time on scoring. But basketball is also: Defense. Rebounding. Passing. Decision-making. Playing without the ball. Winning 50/50 possessions. At Defensive Love, we train the other 80% of basketball. We help coaches teach defense—and players impact winning. Follow us to become the kind of player coaches trust.

Like dribbling and shooting it takes a lot of reps to be a great passer! American basketball is missing trainings where you get a ton of passing reps in!! At our Academy passing the ball is a huge focus!! Great drill below 👇

This is what ALL kids should be doing 98% of the time! A GREAT foundation is built off this skill! People just think it’s easy and assume they are good at it. If you are really good at this skill it will transform your game like you said
Lowkey I believe you can score an extra 6-8ppg if you just jab step off the catch in HS and 1 dribble pull up or get to the cup..

The better you understand and excel ok defense the easier it is to excel on offense and make reads!
Learning how to guard the pick and roll on defense and knowing all the different coverages has helped me better read the pick and roll on offense!
