The blue and yellow of Ukraine.
The colours of resistance against imperialism.
On the eve of this grim anniversary, they adorn our building as a symbol of our unflinching support for the Ukrainian people.

What happened today in Örebro is truly horrifying.
Such violence and terror have no place in our societies—least of all in schools.
In this dark hour, we stand with the people of Sweden.
Our thoughts are with the victims, and we wish them strength and a swift recovery.

All continents will have to deal with the growing burden of climate change.
Its impact is impossible to ignore.
The Paris Agreement continues to be humanity’s best hope.
Europe will stay the course.
And we’ll keep working with all nations that want to stop global warming.

Had the pleasure of giving a key note speech on water resilience at the Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg today.
Also met with the Minister Thekla Walker. Very good discussion on the same topic. Looking forward to our future dialogue.

On 1st January 1995, Austria, Finland, and Sweden joined the European Union.
Since then, they have enriched our European culture and way of life.
And Europe has made them stronger.
Happy 30 years in the EU family to Austrians, Finns and Swedes!

We have a deal on EUDR! 🇪🇺
Good news tonight: we have reached an agreement on EUDR. It will not change the law in substance; it simply gives all businesses and farmers 12 extra months to adapt 🌳
