I lived in a hamlet with no public transport when I started secondary school. The council organised a bus but the bus company regularly forgot me or came late. For my first term I was late every single day. Do you know what my teachers did? They got an ENTIRE BUS ROUTE CHANGED.

Yep. They complained to the council that a pupil was being left (the bus also regularly didn’t turn up to take me home leaving stranded at school) and got the council to get a local public bus company to change one of their routes to divert through my village.
Firstly those stairs would give me a heart attack and secondly how the hell do you get in and out of that bed? I imagine some kind of Fosbury flop. I hate this ‘style’ over practically design.
