A reminder that you should be reading @RalstonReports blog. I hear the Nevada Independent is looking for donations too.
The early voting blog is updated! Bleak for GOP: The Dems will have an almost 30K lead in NV, or 5.6 points when today's mail is counted. The Clark firewall will be at 45K or so, not seen since the heyday of The Reid Machine when Harry was alive. thenevadaindependent.com/art…

The bottom line: Being anti-Trump gets us through this year, but it is NOT a long-term governing strategy. Most voters aren't seeing one.
Some numbers that will be key for Democrats to remember in the aftermath of whatever happens next week: 3/4 of the vote was motivated by Trump, not the party. Voters are no more likely to think Democrats have a governing plan than Republicans. And while they think Rs make them worse off, similar #s of voters think Dems winning leaves them worse off vs. better off.

Republicans and Democrats are getting outvoted by people who don’t give a fuck about politics but can’t stand the cost of living, great for Talarico
No past primary now carries the largest share in the electorate.

Seliger is not some moderate who ran as a Republican forty years ago or something. He is staunchly conservative, a former state senator and the former mayor of deep-red Amarillo, and served as recently as (checks notes) 2023!
Seliger endorses Talarico in Amarillo. #txlege

In a week, polls will have closed in parts of Indiana and Kentucky and results will have begun trickling in for Election Night 2026. For the very few of you who care, I will be active and ready with live tweeting for Election Night 2026. No personal conflicts like last year. Pulling out the ole analyst cap for this one

Big Republican endorsement pickup for Talarico. Seliger is the former Texas senate pro Tem who left office in 2023. He represented TX Senate District 31 (large parts of the TX Panhandle/west Texas) and is the former mayor of Amarillo

These parties are a joke, as if they can say whether someone is a Republican. They are fine with a carpetbagger who exaggerated his military service, violated financial disclosure laws and has a murky past. But a GOP elected official who has served for decades? Not a Republican!

The current Bibi-led government has 68 mandates.Tonight they got 50. 70 are against this government. This is a massive repudiation of the current Israeli government by the Israeli public. Israelis, Arab and Jewish, voted for change, with Arabs believing their vote mattered.

Anything less than R+9 is a disaster for Republicans; I even think > R+10 could be really bad.
Lets talk Florida ➡️ assuming remaining in-person votes remain under R+10 (Sunday vote is essentially only blue counties) ➡️ Based on the election day margin (R+10 to R+25) we will likely end up with an electorate between R+4.8 and R+9.0 ➡️ State party registration gap is R+11.4

Incredible to do this after days of conservatives saying that Obama’s Cheesecake Factory joke shows that he’s an elitist who hates Middle America. Beginning to think he’s got a huge Kalshi bet on Dems taking the Senate.
Trump's affordability message: "You could even come to Mar-a-Lago. You'll be my guest. The problem is that for $5,000 the most you'll be able to buy is a hamburger and maybe a small dessert. I'm not even sure you could buy that! No, don't go there. It's not a good place if you're price conscious."

This is definitely a Lean/Tilt R race, IMO. Scott's favored, but we'll probably see a close one. DGA hasn't really spent much here, but RGA has. If Scott wins, it's pretty much because Beshear/DGA spent so little.

💥Huge victory for Arab-majority parties of Israel, with an estimated 18 Knesset seats. Netanyahu's bloc collapses from 68 to 50, if exit polls hold true. He has no way to form a government. The opposition bloc is declaring victory. The question is how Eisenkot will play it.
