2 years ago, I featured @GlobalEsportsIn with the 1st set of Pinoys in their new rebuild. Despite the unfortunate 2025 season, I still followed with PatMen and xavi8k joining in 2026. Sad to stop covering, but happy to see their 2026 run and lift a trophy! #GEFighting #GEWinning
GE LIFTS MAIDEN PACIFIC TROPHY 🏆
JUST IN: Global Esports outlasts home bet Nongshim RedForce, 3-2 [11-13 Sunset, 2-13 Split, 13-10 Abyss, 13-5 Lotus, 13-10 Haven], to claim the VCT Pacific: Stage 2 trophy on Sunday in Busan, South Korea. #VCTPacificBusan | via @kennedyzcaacbay
2 days ago, I've resigned from @abscbnnews. My feed has mostly been covering @valorantesports and @vctpacific for the latter part of my career (in X at least, haha) and it has been one of my "regular beats" that I enjoyed since I played @VALORANT during the pandemic.
While covering remotely, I witnessed the Team SMG/Xipto run in GC, the first @pprxteam Masters win and the first Pinoy champ in @patmenVLR . The rise of @GlobalEsportsIn since taking in Pinoys was memorable too, since I did a long form feature on them
My role in the new media agency I'm heading for will unlikely allow me to cover the same way I did in ABS-CBN, so I think this will be my goodbye for now in esports recap coverage.
Thank you @VALORANT for giving me another avenue to grow as a journalist. I'll always cherish it!
