Hey guys, don’t panic. 🥺 After taking time to reevaluate how everything has been going, I think we should hold off and see how things roll out before we make any rash decisions or fill out any more forms. Initially I posted that just for awareness and a lot of us didn't know about it but here's a reality check for content creators, streamers, and small artists stressing over BIR compliance. 🧾 If you’re just starting out or doing this mostly as a hobby, DON’T PANIC. Most small creators don’t need to issue official BIR invoices yet. Personally, I’d hold off unless you plan to go BIG: monetizing, landing brand deals, and treating content as full-time and real income. When you get there, registering as a freelancer is the way to go! If you don’t want to dox yourself, you might want to hold off on posting your QR for now. If you already do freelance work (VA, commissions, etc.), you can definitely register if it’s your full-time work. For context, I only registered because I have IRL sponsors as a content creator and now work as a freelance designer.
