It's not like we're walking into this future unwarned... As warnings go, this is pretty eloquent.

Curious about trying Claude Pro before committing - if any of my mutuals are on Pro/Max and have an unused guest pass, I'd gladly take it off your hands. Drop a reply or DM!
ChatGPT Work can now use its computer and browser to sign in to websites on web and mobile, without ChatGPT ever seeing your username or password.
That means you can ask it to:
β’ Set up utilities for a new apartment
β’ Book a DMV or passport appointment
β’ Check reimbursement costs through your insurance
β’ Find and book an in-network doctor around your availability
β’ Check when your car registration expires and prepare the renewal paperwork
β’ Compare your rental insurance policy with an issue youβre emailing your landlord about
β’ Find and save apartment listings that match your criteria
β’ Restock something just by uploading a photo
β’ Schedule a package pickup for a return
β’ Cancel tickets for a rescheduled trip
β’ Book a vet appointment
β’ Submit reimbursement paperwork for medical treatments
β’ Check resale sites for new drops and save things you might like
β’ Find candidates with specific experience and draft outreach
β’ Take invoices from your email and submit them to your accounting software
β’ Draft replies to rental property inquiries
β’ Fill out permit applications for your small business
β’ Add action items to a vendor portal based on a recent client call
β’ Analyze the latest ad campaign for your small business

Releasing Three-Roads (MIT License)
It's the road library i built for my open world game, it contains an authoring library with a lane-aware graph structure, a threejs mesh renderer and a SVG renderer
Most roads are modeled after german road topology, however it is quite easy to change it to any system you want.
At its core, roads are defined as a collection of (curved) edges with nodes representing either extension points or junctions.
You can split and merge lanes at any point on a road. Markings follow some logic, but might require adjustments depending on your use case. Highway ramps require some conscious effort to connect cleanly with inner city roads.
The junction logic can be a bit messy depending on what edges flow in or out, i didn't go through all thousands of combinations but just fix them with codex as i build more roads in the city.
It does not contain any props, except for a few in the demo app. Props are placeholders in the actual library, so you can place whatever you want for trees or street islands or highway signs.
There is a documentation on how to author roads in the bottom of the readme
Have fun guys, you can build quite sophisticated and complex road networks with it. There are limitations, after about 8 edges on a junction the topology can become very messy

> reaffirmed commitment to open source to promote AI "openness and win-win"
And there we have it. No ban yet at least
Key takeaways from President Xi's speech in his first ever appearance at the World AI Conference in Shanghai:
- Started the speech by referring to his signature maxim, "great changes unseen in a century are unfolding across the world"
- Said that the world has "entered an unprecedented period of active innovation on AI technology", which means "great opportunities as well as challenges for governanceβ
- reaffirmed commitment to open source to promote AI "openness and win-win"
- warns against "over stretching" the concept of national security as applied to AI where one country's national security is prioritised over others
- China opposes emergence of βnew historical injusticesβ in AI (one of the most strongly worded parts of the speech)
- China in next 5 years will provide 5000 opportunities to developing countries in "AI training and seminar programmes" and "cooperation centres" - names ASEAN, League of Arab States, African Union, CELAC, SCO and BRICS

For seventy years, robotics worked around the hand problem. The humanoid bet is the reverse: it lives or dies at the fingertips.

@karpathy Your LLM vault/KB setup is exactly what CRCT solves. Custom short keys (1A=full path) + SES slash token use ~90% on huge trees while keeping real reasoning.
