43y/o CBS broadcast of one of my favourite TVMs, with commercials. 😊
There's a TV spot for PSYCHO II in there.
NOT the original 1982 showing, a rerun the next year.
REHEARSAL FOR MURDER with Robert Preston, Jeff Goldblum, Patrick Macnee, Lynn Redgrave

THE FALL AND RISE OF REGINALD PERRIN S2 ep 6
Reggie hires four buffoons in hopes of destroying Grot from within, only to see it become even more successful.
IMHO this is one of the greatest half hours of sitcom ever.
Sorry to hear. So fun in McMILLAN & WIFE, made the show.
KATE & ALLIE was a great sitcom. Channel 4 teatime stalwart in late 80s.
RIP Susan Saint James. 🙏

FROM PORRIDGE TO WINE
Mike Knutton in Huddersfield Daily Examiner 21 May 1976 reports on PORRIDGE's Brian Wilde joining LAST OF THE SUMMER WINE.
Nice photo of the location filming. Love a good copy.
"The late inclusion [of Wilde] meant a lot of extra work for writer Roy Clarke".
AN AUDIENCE WITH BILLY CONNOLLY @ 11pm
A small listing there for one of the best and most famous standup comedy performances ever.
The late hour was because of worry about some viewers being upset. 😄
When are we getting LEGEND OF THE WEREWOLF on Bluray?
"Etoile found himself on the outskirts of a great city", thus allowing for the Pinewood Studios backlot and minimal set dressing. 😅
I do love it though. 🐺

DOCTOR WHO 'Paradise Towers' still my favourite performance by Sylvester McCoy as the Doctor.
Not sure about the dark, unknowable figure of S25 and 26. I preferred him whimsical, like his screen test.
This was the evening of my Sixth Form formal. 😀
Remembrance of the Daleks Part 4 one of the very few DOCTOR WHO eps 1980-89 I didn't see 'live'.
Cracking story. There was hope again!

50 years of Foggy Dewhurst! 🥳
A likeable comic idiot on a par with Inspector Clouseau IMHO. 😄
When 49y/o Lancashire born actor Brian Wilde joined Roy Clarke's LAST OF THE SUMMER WINE in 1976, series ripened into one of the best--and most watched--British sitcoms ever. 🍷

Last of the Summer Wine was back for a new series #OTD 50 years ago, with a new line-up. Michael Bates, who'd played Blamire, left due to health problems, so in came Brian Wilde as Foggy Dewhurst. Rehearsal photo taken in 1976 by Don Smith for @RadioTimes.
RIP actor and writer Walter Koenig, 1936-2016. 🙏
Loved him as Chekov in STAR TREK--in the TV show and the seven movies he made 1978-94 (they should've made more).
"Nuclear wessels" 😄
Enjoyed his turn in THE VOYAGE HOME in the cinema just last month.

Unsold sitcom pilot. Decent review from Variety. Would love to see. #lostmedia

THE NEW AVENGERS
Series 1
13 x 52min
Shooting from Mon 29 Mar 1976 for 32 weeks (finishing early Nov).
Each show took approx. 3 weeks to film, and they usually overlapped i.e., wk 3 of one ep was also wk 1 of the next.
Without paperwork, schedule cannot be pinned down exactly. 😞
