Cheap money has carried almost every coin higher for years. Under Warsh, the Fed is leaving more of the financing conditions to the market.

yen swaps price a 97% chance of a BOJ hike to 1.25%, so the hike should barely pressure BTC. the yen gained 3.83%, yet BTC rose 2.32% and ETH 4.13%. if the BOJ signals a higher rate path, yen gains can trigger margin calls on leveraged yen shorts and force sales of BTC and ETH.

🔎 So great to hear @DenisOevermann, Investment Strategist at @BitcoinSuisseAG share his perspective on The Future of Crypto Asset Management.
Denis highlighted how passive index strategies often fall short in crypto’s fast-moving, concentrated, and cyclical market, emphasizing that active management using on-chain metrics is key, while trends like generational wealth transfer and a youth-dominated investor base signal strong long-term adoption tailwinds.

The market is pricing 3% Fed funds in 12 months. We're calling 2%.
@DenisOevermann explains the non-consensus view:
- Fiscal math forcing the Fed's hand
- Economy stabilizing, not heading to recession
- Hassett likely new Fed chair in April (pro-crypto, pro-growth)
- Market underpricing how dovish this
Our Outlook Prediction #1: Fed funds track to 2% by year-end 2026. That spread creates the macro environment that lifts hard assets.

📈 2026 is set to be a bullish year for crypto. Top-tier research and insights from @BitcoinSuisseAG made that clear as we wrapped up the final CVA event of the year!
Yesterday, @thecryptovalley closed the year with @BitcoinSuisseAG, unveiling their 2026 Crypto Outlook Report and reflecting on 2025 - a year that may have under-delivered on crypto valuation, but over-delivered on fundamentals, leaving a bright outlook for 2026.
@BitcoinSuisseAG CEO, Peter Camenzind and CVA President @JeromeBailly opened the evening. Dominic Weibel and @DenisOevermann shared powerful insights and predictions from the Outlook Report, which in previous years landed at 75% accuracy.
Special thanks to André Dragosch, and Sean Bill for bringing more deep research knowledge to the panel discussion, and to @niki_csanyi for smooth organization.

We just finished grading our 11 predictions for 2025. 75% accuracy. Now here's what we see for 2026.
2025: Crypto under-delivered on price but over-delivered on fundamentals. Stablecoins shattered records. ETF flows shifted market structure. The rails were built.
2026: The Fed cuts steeper than markets expect and the economy accelerates. BTC get quantum-ready and approaches $180K. ETH scales exponentially and reaches for $8K.
The macro backdrop turns supportive, the infrastructure is ready, and valuations have room to run. If 2025 laid the groundwork, 2026 is when it gets priced in.
As always, expertly researched and crafted by our outstanding team: @Dominic_Weibel, @DenisOevermann, Wolfgang Amadeus Vitale, PhD, Matteo Sansonetti & Luca Gnos.

November House View excerpt from the Market Barometer, exclusively provided by @BitcoinSuisseAG
October was one of the more volatile months of the year across asset classes. BTC initially surged to a new all-time high of $126K before macro shocks and largescale deleveraging triggered a steep mid-month correction. The announcement of 100% US–China tariffs on October 10 sparked a broad risk-off move, causing more than $19B in liquidations across CEXs as automated deleveraging (ADL) cascades drained liquidity. After rising +11% early in the month, BTC closed October down -4%, as excess leverage and speculative positioning were flushed out. Despite the shakeout, the broader market structure remains intact as long as BTC holds above the 100K threshold. Below $100K, no structural support exists until $75K. The Federal Reserve’s announcement of the formal end to Quantitative Tightening (QT) effective December 1 marks the first shift toward renewed net liquidity expansion since early 2022. The decision follows signs of tightening financial and banking liquidity conditions, evident in SOFR spikes, increased Standing Repo Facility usage, and TGA fluctuations. October’s 25 bps rate cut brought the policy rates to 3.75–4%, with markets pricing a third rate cut in 2025 with a year-end target rate of 3.50–3.75%.
Meanwhile, the ongoing US government shutdown since October, has delayed key data releases (NFP, CPI, PCE, PPI), leaving markets “flying blind.” Proxy indicators such as Truflation edged higher to 2.6 percent, while ISM PMI slipped to 48.7 (49.5 expected), indicating softening business activity. Yet Goldman Sachs continues to forecast healthy growth with +3.6% in 2025Q3 and +3.1% in 2026Q1. Traditional markets remain resilient, with all major US indices (DJI, SPX, NDQ, RTY) reaching record highs into October-end and gold touching $4’380 before consolidating below $4K.
As fear returned, BTC dominance climbed back above 60% as capital rotated defensively following the deleveraging event. ETH lost its $3.9–$4.1K support and is stabilizing near $3.5K. ETH’s next support lies at $2.5K. We see altcoins to remain under pressure and to likely underperform BTC until confidence and liquidity recover into December. Institutional October inflows, however, remain supportive, with +$5B into BTC, +$1.1B into ETH, and +$382M into SOL, reflecting sustained demand despite volatility. October saw roughly 400K BTC (1.94% of total supply) moved from LTHs, signaling meaningful redistribution amidst ETF accumulation. With QT to end in December and liquidity expansion resuming, our medium-term outlook remains constructive. Yet, near-term volatility may persist as sentiment must be rebuilt, despite positioning having normalized. Overall macro conditions are improving, and institutional demand remains firm. Thus, as long as Bitcoin holds $100K support, the setup favors a renewed uptrend into year-end and early 2026 in our view.
