The Brewers swept the 100-win Dodgers and made quick work of the 98-win Rays. A truly impressive run to a World Series title for the Brewers.
The last time Milwaukee celebrated a World Series title was 1957 when the Braves topped the Yankees.

Sixers trailed by 29 and won ...
- Biggest comeback win for LeBron
- Biggest Philly comeback/Cleveland blown lead of play-by-play era (since 1996-97)
- Cleveland was 155-0 since '96 in such games, Philly 0-156
- NBA teams had won 466 straight with 29-pt leads in regular season

Cleveland's season essentially ended last spring when they blew a 22-point 4th Q lead in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals. They start this season by blowing a 24-point halftime lead in Philadelphia.
The Sixers win, 114-106, to improve to 2-0.
I know it’s a different era, but it’s still wild to me that teams are capable of losing 20-point plus leads with ease.

Sources: Le Moyne College is on the cusp of joining The Metro Conference in all sports starting in 2027-28. The sides are deep in discussions with The Metro (formerly the MAAC), and a deal is expected to come together in the near future. Le Moyne is leaving the NEC.

The way Joel Embiid is moving defensively is really encouraging for the Sixers. He hasn't moved this well since before the initial meniscus surgery.
