I had a bit about Looney Tunes make the rounds a few months ago. Eric Bauza not only reached out to say he loved it(a very kind and thoughtful gesture) but he also left me this voice memo. I listen to it a lot. RIP. What a talent. What a loss.
Eric Bauza, the Emmy Award-winning voice actor behind Looney Tunes characters like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, died Sunday at his home as a result of hypertensive cardiovascular disease, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records. He was 46.

Animation, he was the voice of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck among countless other characters. He followed in the footsteps of giants like Mel Blanc. Eric said that carrying on the legendary legacy of the Looney Tunes was among the greatest honors of his life. In addition to his incredible talent, Eric was a treasured part of our animation family. I can't believe I'm getting misty-eyed at a wacky Daffy Duck speech. Bauza was such a talent who embodied his Looney Tunes characters in a way very few people since Mel Blanc have done. You could tell how much he loved getting to be Bugs, Daffy, Tweety, Marvin et al.
