😂 I love these posts because it shows how vibe coders are lost. AI can't innovate it can only replicate. An llm is a snapshot of the past. Become an innovative engineer and you'll not need to ask these types of questions.
I have a question: What happens to the software industry when anyone can reverse-engineer and replicate products that took companies years and millions of dollars to build?

Hope @claudeai is ready for all the @OpenAI refugees come October 29th. I know where I'll be going if I need a slop machine.

Junior devs aren't being hired because they take too many mental health days. 🤷‍♂️

I see a lot of folks migrating from @OpenAI to @AnthropicAI . But I still encourage everyone to keep their skills sharp and not become dependent on AI. At the end of the day these guys can charge w/e they want.

So when #OpenAI halved the Pro $200 plan usage today to push people in to $500/m. I guess I am still wrong?

It is clear what is happening. We are discouraging a future generation pursuing CS. When people no longer know how to code the cost of tokens will be higher than gold and the usage will be turned down to the minimums. This is the reason I dusted off this old account. AI IS A TOOL

That's about 5 gigs on a cold build. #Rust isn't as fat as people think. But there is a price to the rapid compilation and that comes in the form of storage.

For all my real #SWE, you need to stop worrying. AI can't and will never be able to innovate. Use AI to amplify your personal ability. Keep skilling and stay sharp; you'll always be in demand.

There are two schools of thought on AI. 1. AI will replace me as a developer. 2. AI will not replace me as a developer. They both are RIGHT! Change your mindset to the group you want to be in. Level up those skills and do not resign to defeat. I'm a tech dinosaur and still work
