Who were the greatest baseball players from different U.S. cities?
Baltimore has a pretty solid Big 3, huh?
Former Lions assistant.
We are saddened to hear the passing of legendary #HawaiiFB Coach June Jones today.
He is UH’s winningest head coach with 76 wins, the master in the Run and Shoot Offense and a great mentor and teacher of the game.
Coach Jones was 73 years old. Rest in Aloha.

Ya think??
Bo Bichette is exercising his $42 million player option for next season and staying with the New York Mets, league sources tell The Athletic.
Bichette, 28, holds another player option worth the same amount for 2028. nytimes.com/athletic/7736936…
Randy Grichuk is somebody I wouldn't mind seeing the Tigers look at. 🤔
Stable vet. Much-needed right-handed bat; has some pop; can and has played every OF position; batted about .300 with a .925 OPS for the White Sox in 101 games after coming over from the Yankees.

Optimal: Red Wings find a worthy return for Dylan Larkin and it happens quickly.
Otherwise? If he's still flexing his no-trade clause and preventing the deal HE'S FORCING from happening?
Let him rot without pay.
Let him go play in Slovakia.

There were talks in the the last 24 hours between Larkin's camp and the Red Wings, both last night and again this morning, and what was communicated from the agents to Detroit was that Larkin feels he's given the team ample time since his trade request in May to get a deal done. Larkin has had enough, so decision was made he won't play tonight nor for foreseable future hoping a trade materializes. Fluid situation still. Red Wings circling back to teams with interest, etc., as talks escalate.
I feel the same way about the Brewers winning the World Series as I did when the St. Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup in 2019.
Legit fanbases who paid their dues and deserved this moment.
Just watched a case break of 2026 Topps Five Star Baseball.
Man, a whole bunch of Archives-like retired autos: Fergie Jenkins, Tony Oliva, George Foster.
Would be happy with that in Archives, but not from a $1,200 box.

Tigers infielder Kevin McGonigle keeps winning awards. He is the 2026 Players Choice Awards AL Outstanding Rookie.
Did you see that contact by Brunson on Cade in the lane? No whistle?
Nonsense compared to the brush fouls Brunson is always fishing for and getting.
Huerter and Robinson on the floor at the same time doesn't seem like something you can go with for long stretches.

I love that song!
Today I issued an Executive Order designating “Seminole Wind” by John Anderson as the official anthem of Florida.
I have also directed the @FLSecofState to erect historic markers in the City of Apopka depicting John Anderson’s contribution to Florida’s heritage.
In addition, I have tasked @FLDEPNews to work with the @SJRWMD to designate wildlife drive and trail system within Lake Apopka North Shore as the John Anderson Wildlife Drive and Trail System.
