BEST BACKDROP IN WALES 🏴
Wales has some of the best backdrops at football grounds in the world. I compiled a thread to find the best backdrops in Wales. There’s so many others that could have been included, but here’s twelve of the best in no particular order..

We’d like to clarify that we don’t know whether a match will be played on the main stadium or back pitch until closer to the matchday, as schedules can change and unforeseen issues may arise.
Our match against @Fc_Baresi , there is a chance it will be played at the main stadium.

After months away, the sight of green returning to The Hybrid Fitness Stadium means so much.
And soon, we’ll be home - 24th Oct.

We were blown away by the support last night. A really special evening and the amount of people that showed up to support shows just how much the local people of Newbury love their football club.

The (lovelier) images which have shaped my work & echoed something true in UK football, every year since 1989, are being put into my own Fame of Hall.
"BACK UP THE HILL" Leeds United year1990. Great views of the ground and floodlights on the way there. A thrill like no other in lifetime #lufc

Another huge milestone achieved yesterday for the club as the new floodlights were turned on for the first time and it was great that the committee shared the occasion. Sometimes it goes unnoticed what committees do but this was a historic occasion for the club.

Kensington Dragons (1)4 LBS Lions (1)2, att 27. Enjoyable game with some fine goals after quiet opening 25m. LBS started 2nd half well but red card turned it. They took lead, fine break, but KD got on top and made sure of win with long range 4th (cross/shot?) late on

A few years back, a PL executive boldly claimed ‘virtual season tickets’ were coming - where you could be anywhere in world & feel you’re inside arena watching live match. Now the technology exists to make it part of next PL broadcast deal.
