Unity is using Apple's XR technology to run Unity projects in Fortnite!
With an ironic twist, Unity's tool PolySpatial, which was developed to develop for Apple Vision Pro will be used to develop Unity projects for Fortnite. This allows Unity developers to tap into its ecosystem
Utilizing PolySpatials render/logic split, it allows Unity code to run in a headless server, and send the geometry to Fortnite for Unreal's render stack. A sick achievement for sure!

Unity just dropped CoreCLR, their new scripting backend, in Unity 6.7 Alpha 2!
CoreCLR replaces both mono and IL2CPP and should outperform both. Some users already reported 18x performance improvements over Mono!
